Dr. Kenneth T. Kmieck, DDS

Dr. Kmiek's office has a mobile dentistry service to nursing homes. My father was in need of a dental exam and was to be seen by this contracted service. A $150 dollar deposit had to be made prior as these services were not covered under Medicare. Unfortunately, on the day he as to be seen, my father was sent to the ER and he subsequently passed away. Within a week or two, I contacted Dr. Kmiek's mobile office requesting a refund and was told it would take 30 days (!). After 45 days had passed, I contacted them again, this time I was told they were backed up and could take another 7-10 days. I waited two weeks and just got off the phone with them and was told another 7 days probably. It's odd they processed the deposit payment right over the phone in an instant, but I have been waiting on a refund for two months. I hope someone from his main office reads this, possibly him personally, and feels ashamed and embarrassed. Perhaps I will even get my refund one day, but I am not counting on it.

Sharing this publicly with my name stated so potential new patients know this was a genuine experience. I was a patient at this Dental office as of today, before I was told they were no longer comfortable seeing me as a patient and i was asked to leave. This transpired due to making a simple comment about the waiting room being crowded, with one patient who was clearly sick, whom i had refused to ride in the elevator with down in the lobby, who would later be coming into the same Dental office unbeknownst to me, making the situation awkward and uncomfortable. I wad been a patient for over seven years which made the entire experience all the more shocking. To be treated like this for simply being concerned about mine and others health was beyond the pale and others should be aware that this happened and be aware.

I have to say this is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable and they definitely have a special gift of making you feel safe and comfortable. Very thankful I found them. This place was highly recommended to me and I’ll never go anywhere else. Highly highly recommend!!!!

Staff is friendly and efficient. Always wants to answer your questions and talks through everything they are doing. Highly recommend!
