Dr Munagala was wonderful! His ethics and integrity are to be commended. After looking at my X-rays, he advised to go to a specialist. He didn’t charge me for the time he took to review my X-ray or his time as I had booked an appointment to repair a chipped tooth. I have major anxiety when going to a dentist; however, Dr Mughala was very patient and reassuring. Unlike many other dental office run by a corporation, Dr Mughala runs a private, honest practice with the intent to help you with your dental care not "sell" you costly services He researched his referral before recommending a provider for my extensive dental needs. Therefore, he wasn’t receiving a "kick back" for his recommendation. I will DEFINITELY be returning to Dr Mughala for future needs and highly recommend his practice!

I love getting my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist, Gorette, is the best I have ever had clean my teeth. She is very thorough and explains what she is doing and why throughout the cleaning. Dr. Munagala is very personable and does an exam after the cleaning. I appreciate that he is not trying to add on procedures that are not absolutely necessary. I feel heard and seen. Also, Cynthia, the front desk person, is very friendly and helpful. When my son aged out of my insurance she explained that they have an 'in-house' family insurance plan, which is very affordable for the services received. And the best part is that this office still accepts Delta Dental insurance. I am very pleased with this dental office.

From the initial greeting by a staff member to the specialist cleaning my teeth the visit was welcoming, informative, and beneficial. Had my 6-month cleaning on Thursday, 9/18, and as always, Donna was wonderful—gentle, thorough, and kind. I’ve been seeing her for over 25 years, and she never misses a beat. Cynthia at the front desk is always friendly. Her warmth makes every visit feel welcoming. The office is spotless, and they offer bottled water if needed. I’ve been coming here for years, and even though I live in Newark, I’ll keep making the drive. Great care is worth it. I recently visited Dr. Munagala due to intermittent tooth pain. He thoroughly assessed my condition and identified the issue. He referred me to an endodontist for a root canal. His professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication always puts me at ease. This time I was in for my 6 month cleaning. Donna has been my hygienist for over 25 years. She does a great job! She's thorough, gentle, friendly & very kind. I'll be very sad if & when she decides to retire. I'd been going to this office for many years before Dr. Munagala bought the practice. I wasn't sure if I was going to stay since I live in Newark. Dr. Munagala is very kind & gentle. He talks you through your procedure, so you know what is being done and makes sure you are comfortable. I will continue to be a patient in his office.

I've been a patient here for many years. I appreciate that Dr Munagala clearly explains the procedure you are undergoing. He addresses any concerns you may have. He is proffesional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. His staff is top notch. Gorette has been my dental hygienist forever. She is wonderful. Cynthia, is lovely, she runs the front office. She is warm, welcoming and very efficient. Even though I've moved out of the bay area I contine to come back for my dental needs.

Urgent care appointment and was seen in the afternoon. Consultation, review and diagnosis plan made and procedure completed to resolve the issue. Dr. VJ Munagala and staff are always welcoming, professional and respectful of patient's needs. They are patient and will explain different dental insurance plans and payment plans with you. All current medical Covid recommendations are followed and you can be assured they follow all health protocols. Today's visit was a cleaning and xrays. Donna, my hygienist was cheerful and ready for me. Everything was efficient and she completed the examination, cleaning and xrays. Dr. Munagala completed the final review. He is very patient, polite and very nice. Much appreciation and thanks again for being my dentist! Al Wong 04-29-25 Due to a standing appointment with DMV, I arrived early to reschedule. Donna was very understanding (sometimes, due to staffing issues and current mandates, being patient and respectful at DMV is always a must, even with an appointment) Donna rescheduled me for a 2 pm appointment that day. I returned at 2 pm and Donna was waiting for me. Besides the regular cleaning, this time around included xrays. All procedures were done in a professional and timely manner. Upon completion, a quick consult and a visual look by Dr. Munagala for any issues was completed. After many years seeing Donna for my regular cleanings--and very much appreciating her skills and compassionate care--I recently went in to see Gorett, whom I had seen as a younger woman. Like Donna, Gorett is excellent at what she does, and I was delighted to reconnect with her. I particularly noted the care with which she reviewed the recent work I had done at a San Leandro periodontal office and carefully updated my medical history. She explained what she noted in my mouth during the cleaning and spoke about areas that needed more focus and monitoring.
