Canton Pediatric Dental Center

Probably the best experience we’ve had with our 8 year old. She doesn’t do well with doctors, medicine, IVs etc. her anxiety gets bad at times but they all pulled through and gotten her dental work taken care of. Everyone was so friendly. Front desk staff was phenomenal. The "Bye gabby, hope you feel better and love your new puppy" gave me the warm and fuzzies because they pay attention. The docs and nurses explained everything so well. Wouldn’t choose anywhere else to go after that experience. They even masked & name banded her gingerbread stuffed animal for her!

Let me start off by saying they black mail people. Months ago I wrote pretty well the same review they called my wife and said if I didnt delete it they would cancel my daughters surgery at Akron Children's. Now for the actual review. We set the appointment since we were referred to them. Sent picture of Dental In. Card front and back. They called and told the wife they couldn't find my Ins policy. I called my Dental Ins company. They told me that the Dental office office wasnt doing a proper search and told me I had to explain to them how to do it. I called them back and had to walk them through how to find the policy. Now the day of initial appointment. Stood at front desk for 10min waiting for the receptionist so we could check in. When we got called to the back they took us to a room that had no privacy and no doors. After doing the questions they said Dr. Would be in in a minute. 45min later I asked where the hell the doctor was. They told me I needed to show respect to other patients. I told them they needed to show respect to all of their patients. Waited 5more min. I told them if dr wasnt in with in 5min we were leaving. Then they told me they were understaffed that the owners doesnt want more doctors working. even though in the room across from us there were 4 or 5 just standing around talking and laughing as soon as I pointed that out the doctor showed up. Long story short they have no respect for patients or time.

Dr Jensen and her assistant we're both great! My son had a filling done. He's 11 and kinda needle shy. They both had an excellent bedside manner. And went to great lengths to keep my son comfortable during his procedure. Both very compassionate and explain every step of the procedure. Good Dr's and assistants are hard to find these days. I highly recommend CPD to anyone with a child that needs excellent dental care!!! Thanks to all, your hard work and dedication did not go UNNOTICED!!!! Id give 10 stars if it was an option!!!!

We love Dr. Hong and the staff at Canton Pediatric Dental Center! The staff is kind, and professional. They made my son with severe dental anxiety feel comfortable amidst having a dental emergency. I understand the call/appointment implementation system, but others might feel differently. This is an incredibly busy office, but the individual treatment you receive is wonderful. I have always received a call back within a reasonable amount of time. *Edit My child with the dental emergency ended up needing dental surgery at ACH. Dr. Ahn was AMAZING! He was wonderful at explaining everything to this nervous mommy, and took great care of my young child. He is on the mend and recovering well! The office called the following day to check on him and to see if I had any questions. I've called the office since surgery to make him a follow up appointment and cleaning, and also to bring my other child into the office as a new patient and they both have appointments within the next month. Communication with office staff has been great!

Been taking my kids here for 13 years now and never had an issue : thank you for all the wonderful care you have provided for each one of my kids. The staff and doctors are both awesome and they go above and beyond every single time super grateful for this place ❤️

My child (now 3.5yo) has always been super spooked by the dentist. There’s always tears and he couldn’t ever do anything without me right there holding him (up until today). He had his I think 4th of 5th checkup this morning and was very clear he didn’t wanna go. We got there and he was hesitant to get his weight let alone go do all the other scary teeth stuff 🙁 the girls and doc there were absolutely amazing with him and helped him feel the most comfortable he could, so much so he did his whole x-ray without any trouble! They asked about all his interests and incorporated dad and I and so forth, and thoroughly explained all he was getting done, let him feel everything before they did care, etc. Their patience really shined through, as well as their love for kiddos. Also they’re great with meeting your scheduling needs and are as flexible as they can be. We were in and out which is always a plus. This place is amazing and despite the drive (we live in the middle of nowhere so not too many options) we’ll take him here as long as he’s in pediatric care. 5 stars for these girlies!! 🌟👩🏻‍⚕️🩵🩵🩵🦷🪥

This place has the most ridiculous scheduling procedures ever. If anything crops up that you have to reschedule your appt, good luck getting one soon!! You have to call in the 1st of the month bright and early in the morning so you can try to get a spot for the following month. Not that month, the next month. I’m so absolutely insanely frustrated with this place. Not to mention the frustrations of not being able to get in quickly to have cavities taken care of. My daughter had a cavity and it wasn’t able to be taken care of for months. By that point, it had gotten worse and they wouldn’t handle it anymore because of fear of being too close to the root. If you can call in the morning that you are able to make it in for a child experiencing pain and get in that day, why the freaking heck can’t you get your child that they have in their office that moment in within a week or two to get a filling?!! Why?! Do you have that many kids experiencing pain that you leave spots open every single day that you won’t allow anyone else to fill? All you seem to care about is money. The worse off their teeth get, the more you get right?
