Topaz Dentistry & Braces

First things first, I was sent to an Indian call center when first setting up an appointment. They put my info in wrong and I was called by the actual office later to inform me that I could not do any of the appointments scheduled. They didn't even have those times available for adults. They said they could schedule me in three months, not ideal due to me experiencing a lot of tooth pain but my options are very limited due to Medicaid dental. Received a call a few weeks before appointment to confirm, we confirmed it. Then received a phone call the day before the appointment to confirm it again. This time they said my info was not entered correctly and the appointment that I had made very clear I was looking for, with the call center and then again with the office, needing a cleaning and fillings, they said they could not do. Instead they said they could charge me $97 for an exam and x-ray. most places do the exam and x-ray for free. I did not wait three months in pain to get scammed when I made it very clear what I needed an appointment for. Not only this but they also sent pre appointment paperwork three times, that takes over 15 minutes to fill out and makes you fill it out as though you have a child with you when you don't. This was the worst dental experience of my life. Avoid it with a ten foot pole if you can. They are unethical, they lied about what the appointment would be for, they kept putting my information in incorrectly all the way until the day before the appointment, and they were rude. Now I have to continue being in pain and find a new place to schedule with due to them wasting my time and being a scam.

Double apps for two teens at 10 am, and did not get out until after 12. Then asked to come back at 2. I drove 40 miles to get there ON TIME. No, I could not come back at 2. The schedule was truly off this time.

The support staff here is lovely. The hygenist that worked with us was wonderful. Howecer, the dentist was not very communicative, and did a repair on an upper front tooth that was much darker than the surrounding teeth. It stands out and looks awful. The dentist shrugged and said it was the only material they had. She knew it was a bad match and did it anyway.

Worst place EVER!! From the front desk to the dentist!!! Never on time, an hour appointment will always be at least 2 hours. Notorious for canceling appointments due to no provider!!! Medicaid fraud billing for time that’s why they keep you there all day. No way we had to come back to get a crown molded three times, 2nd time they broke my daughter’s wire from her braces. They have no idea what they are doing. My advice would be to not send me another Google review.

I waited an hour to be called back. Then was told they don't take my insurance, even though they've had my information for a week. I was told they don't take HMO plans even though my card clearly states its PPO dental plan. This place is a joke!!!! If I could 0 stars I would!

Hygienist Alexandra A was extremely rude to a 9 year old, definitely can’t deal with KIDS! She was telling my sister all kind of things and names for feeling scared. SHE IS A KID, obviously they will move when something is hurting! Especially with this woman that was so harsh! I was in another room hearing the whole situation and HAD to ask for her name and i’m definitely not the type of person to write reviews but it was needed. This woman pulled out my sisters tooth when it definitely was not needed. Her tooth was barely BARELY loose, she then proceeded to try to gaslight saying it came off but that was definitely NOT the case. She tried to gaslight because she knew she wasn’t supposed to do it. I don’t know if she thought we don’t speak both languages to write complaints but I definitely do, although my mother does not. This happened when I was still in the x-ray room and Alexandra hadn’t seen me yet, which is why I think she tried to gaslight my mother saying it just came off (my mother only speaks Spanish like said) My sister then asked my mother if she was still bleeding and Alexandra jumped in conversation and said something along the lines of "Neh not that much" as if she didn’t care that she just pulled out her tooth when it was not needed! My mother does not speak english but I DO and I will defend my family in any case ! She also did my teeth and poked my skin so many times! Felt like she didn’t know how to do a damn thing! Who gave this woman a degree! Very rude, unprofessional and harsh on the teeth. Everyone else overall was definitely super nice but who hired this woman🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

If it was an option I would leave no starts. The dentist did not make sure my son was numb before starting the process to cap my 4 year olds teeth. Despite the fact that he was screaming and they didn’t not think to make sure that he wasn’t in pain. Will not be returning.
