Best place to get your wisdom teeth removed!!! The front desk was extremely nice and efficient. I went in for my extractions, and Dr. Shah was nothing but the best. I had some old panos, so we ended up taking another X-ray just to see if they even needed to be removed. We had a detailed conversation about my wisdom teeth and how the procedure would go down. I wished to proceed with the procedure after our talk. I chose the option to be sedated, and best decision ever. I was always scared to get my blood drawn since I was a little kid because multiple nurses missed my vein. I told Dr. Shah, and he got the needle in my arm in less than 2 seconds, pain-free. I woke up from sedation, and the assistants brought me to the recovery area. I was feeling normal. Dr. Shah came out 2 minutes later to ask how I was doing and did the same with the other patients. Dr. Shah cares about his patients! I loved my visit and would 100% recommend to anyone who needs to get a tooth removed!!!

Excellent! The staff was very welcoming and kind from the front to the back. The front desk made my check in so easy , the assistants were all so kind and welcoming. They eased me anxiety about the treatment I was getting done before the doctor came in. Dr.Shah was the star of the show! He has a calming energy and answered all questions I had and kept checking in on me after my surgery. You can tell the office has a good flow and everyone respects one another and communicates well which bodes well for patient care ! I highly recommend going here !

Dr. Jay Selznick , Samantha and Crystal were great. I genuinely appreciated their kindness and patience with me . I had a wisdom tooth extraction and Dr. Selznick and Amanda eased me through the process. I am so grateful for the three of them.

I had the best experience here for my tooth extraction! The front desk staff was extremely polite and kind and made me feel comfortable prior to my procedure. Dr Oks and his assistant were fantastic, and handled the procedure with skill and professionalism. It was so quick, I barely had time to get through a youtube video and definitely did not feel discomfort from my tooth being pulled. Also, I was given ample instruction post-procedure on what to expect in the next few days so I was not worried. Big thank you to the surgeon and team.

My experience at Sunset Park Oral Surgeon was awesome. I was so nervous prior to my procedure. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and concern. The receptionist was very professional and friendly. The x-ray technician was very nice as well. The doctors assistant is very knowledgeable as she explained what would take place during my procedure. She made me feel very calm. The Doctor walked walked in with a smile and a positive attitude and before I knew it, I was all done. The staff made sure that I was ready to be discharged as they explained the next steps toward my healing. I will definitely return to your office and recommend it to anyone that requires any form of oral procedures.

I’m absolutely blown away by experience here. I came in for oral surgery involving 2 teeth being extracted..The staff were all warm and very friendly. They were informative, and really put me at ease. The surgery which I under went with partial anesthesia was a much quicker and pain free process than I could have ever imagined. I came in for a scheduled CT scan and everything went downhill from there. Right after the scan, a staff member named Vanessa walked in and told me I needed to pay $400 because "insurance doesn’t cover anesthesia." I was confused and asked for an explanation, but instead of helping, she had a nasty attitude and pressured me to decide right away. The doctor then came in and said he could do the procedure with no issue, that 15 minutes of anesthesia is covered, and that he would send me home with medication for the pain. So I was even more confused about what the $400 charge was supposed to be for. Because of the attitude and lack of clarity, I said no. When I tried to get answers, they told me I had to wait until the last patient finished because the billing person was "busy." I had already been there since 10 AM. Frustrated, I called my insurance myself and they were confused too—nothing made sense about the charge. Then another staff member named Miriam came out and suddenly created a bill for "deep sedation – $400," something nobody explained or asked me about. When I questioned it, she told me they were going to drop me as a patient and could no longer assist me. Very unprofessional. I calmly asked for my records, and she told me to wait until 3 PM, even though I had already been waiting for hours. This office is completely unorganized, the staff is rude, and they try to charge for things without clear explanation. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
