I would give this Dentist and Dental office ZERO stars , I work in the area so when i walked past this office it looked perfect on the outside , But when you go back to see the dentist its very third world the bathrooms are dirty and the dental rooms feel very un sterile , The dentist fixed one of my feelings a few weeks later it fell out so I made a new appointment when I got to the office they had me do a x ray then for them to come back into the room and say sorry but the dentist is busy and cant see me very unprofessional. Please do your research on this dentist before booking an appointment i dont recommend at all .

My first time here for a root canal. Dr. Lee was very polite and patient. I have nothing negative to say about my first visit. Everything went smoothly and will follow up with a post. Follow up: I ended up doing my post and crown at my regular dentist. Nothing against Dr. Lee but if I have any issues it's easier to get to my regular dentist than to travel all the way from NJ to Park slope.

I purposely went to this "dentist" to get a molar which was causing me some pain to get checked out. I even mentioned this while was making the appointment. It seemed like the office understood what my purpose was for making the appointment. While I was there They had taken X-rays of my teeth and then proceeded to mention that my teeth could not be examined there and were so eager for me to make a root canal evaluation at a DIFFERENT location in Manhattan. As I asked why do I have to do that, their reason was because I was pregnant and they do "special examination" there. These people are so shady and not straightforward with their patients at all! I had to call my insurance to make sure the office did not falsely bill for an examination that did not happen. I am still trying to get an answer. Also this office is completely run down, equipment is rusted and floorboards are missing. I could find a better taken care of office in a 3rd world country. Guys do yourself a favor and stay away from this shady dental practice!

The staff and doctor were great and very sweet. However, the whole facility was filthy for a medical office you would expect better. There was trash and dust everywhere and it was just disgusting. If it were at a different facility I’d go back since the staff were so amazing.

I went here previously before leaving New York and I was so impressed that I was sure to return when I moved back. The whole team is very courteous and kind, particularly with a patient like me who is quite anxious in the chair. These are the most gentle cleanings I’ve ever had (I’m very sensitive to cleaning pain), and I was very impressed that they were able to not only see immediately when I arrived 30 minutes early, but also to refer me to a same day wisdom teeth withdrawal. Just brilliant.

I visited Dr. Lee on January 11, 2025, for a crown replacement after my old one chipped following more than seven years of use. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. Instead of addressing my crown issue, Dr. Lee insisted that my cavities were a bigger concern and strongly recommended getting them filled immediately. This was surprising because my dentist back home had previously mentioned that the cavities were minor and suggested improving my flossing habits rather than immediate intervention. Despite my initial reluctance, I proceeded with the treatment, assuming that Dr. Lee's in-network status with my insurance would help minimize costs. However, to my dismay, the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) later revealed that my insurance processed the claim as an out-of-network service, resulting in a significantly higher payout of $200 per tooth. I had four of my upper right teeth filled, which almost maxed out my insurance benefits at the beginning of the year, leaving me with minimal coverage for the rest of the year. The problems did not end there. After the procedure, I experienced significant discomfort and pain when chewing on the treated side, which persisted for over a week. Additionally, I noticed sharp edges on the fillings, and my bite felt misaligned. When I returned to Dr. Lee for an adjustment, he examined my teeth but was unable to identify or resolve the issue. Frustrated, I attempted to floss around the fillings and found that the floss would consistently tear, indicating a poorly done procedure. Seeking a second opinion, I visited a new dentist recommended by a friend. In less than a minute, this dentist was able to smooth out the rough edges, and I no longer experienced issues with flossing. Furthermore, Dr. Lee had also advised that I needed a root canal, but my new dentist clarified that I already had a root canal done on that tooth, which I had forgotten since it was performed when I was a minor. Upon checking with my dentist back home, it was confirmed that my root canal had been completed years ago and there was no need for another one. Overall, my experience with Dr. Lee was highly disappointing. The lack of professionalism, unnecessary procedures, and billing confusion have left me frustrated and dissatisfied. However, I must mention that the staff were very kind. I would caution others to be wary and to seek a second opinion before proceeding with any major dental work at this office. I am sharing my experience to prevent others from facing a similar situation. Wishing all the best for other patients.
