Don Tran

In the beginning of August 2025, I went to get a dental cleaning at Dental Associates. The dental hygienist's hand was very shaky and she appeared to be fresh out of school. After the cleaning was done, the front-desk guy told me that I had some cavities and potential for cavities and some fillings needed to be done. He never pointed to the exact teeth on the Xray. Mind you, an office administrator suggested this work to be done, not a dentist. I shrugged it off because I was suspicious of his intentions. I regret not listening to my intuition. Three and a half months later, I felt some sensitivity on one of the pre-molar teeth on the right while brushing my teeth. So I thought "ok maybe that's why he wanted to do fillings on that side." I proceeded to book an appointment to come a few days thereafter to do the fillings. Before they did anything on me, they did an Xray to see if there's anything wrong with the tooth where I felt sensitivity brushing. They looked at the Xray and said there's nothing wrong there. I should've left the office at that moment, but I thought "ok, well they did the Xray and told me there's nothing wrong with that tooth and I've gotten fillings done elsewhere years ago and it was painless so ok, why not do the fillings they suggested?" I was trying to get more information on the particular teeth that they wanted to do fillings on but they never provided any Xray or any teeth numbers. I made the worst decision of my life and decided to proceed ahead with the fillings. Oh boy am I paying the price for that mistake. Dental Associates did not have me sign anything that day to approve of the procedure. After they completed the fillings and before I left their office and before I even put anything in my mouth to know if the procedure went well or not, the male front-desk male employee, who I assume to be an office administrator or the practice’s salesperson, told me that "this is only the first step," and "maybe later we will have to do a root canal." For the second time, he was recommending procedures to be done on me without showing me any Xrays or photos. How would he know that I needed a root canal? I should’ve asked him that question then, but I did not because I placed my faith in these medical professionals. As soon as I got out to my car and drank water, I had cold sensitivity on the right side of my mouth on one of the top two teeth that they filled. I'm still trying to fix the problems caused by this office. A few weeks later, I went to another dentist because I obviously lost all faith in Dental Associates after playing the events back in my head. The other dentist told me that they were teeth #3, #4, and #30 where Dental Associates did their fillings. Tooth #4 went well, but tooth #3's filling broke off. Tooth #30 had a chip which wasn't there before - this was presumably caused by the dentist at Dental Associates when she was trying to shave off the filling to make the bite even. My front teeth are feeling sensitivity to the cold as well. I'm not even sure if Dental Associates worked on these front teeth without informing me, because I was under anesthesia and had my eyes closed. It’s just bizarre that they all became sensitive around the same time. Right now, the entire right side of my mouth is not feeling well and as mentioned, I’m still in the process of fixing the damage done. With the evidence presented from my experience, it appears that DAG recommended unnecessary procedures for me.

I’ve had both cleanings and minor work done here. Every visit has been consistent. No pressure, no surprise charges, just straightforward care

ALSO there are a lot more people who have probably reviewed negatively because they will call you and ask to remove it. My mother did it because I still had to go back for the 5th time in 2 months for and impression that shouldn’t taken one impression. I was told it was to make sure it’s "right" and they still messed it up. This place is a joke and they know they’re bad. But they also know most people can’t afford better dentists so they use that to their advantage. No integrity or shame. The receptionist thinks he’s some top guy in the office but he’s just a salesman literally. His main goal is to push onto people paying out of pocket for the dentures or partial or whatever by knowing it’s going to take months to get it. It’s sad Im so thankful I started working in this field so I can see how messed up these types of places are.

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR A PARTIAL/DENTURE OR FILLING PLEASE READ. Im going to start off by saying I know work as a dental assistant. This place is the worst place, they RUINED my mouth. I am 26 I went in for a chipped front tooth. I ended up with 7 teeth pulled. Mind you this whole process started July 2024. I went back in October to get X-rays done (which I have) and I had a lot of cavities. They only filled 2( this matters later when I get my partial). The fillings are not the same color. So fast forward I was then scheduled January 27 2025 to get them taken out. It took another 6 months to get my partial !!!! Because they made ME call the insurance company to tell them to send another copy of the paperwork. I was told by the insurance company that is uncommon and it would be quicker if they called them, but they didnt want too. Their excuse was the sent the paperwork but it goes thru a third party which takes an extra 3 weeks. I was supposed to get it the insurance claim for the partial Feburary 7. But because they mustve forgot to send it out of just didnt feel the urgency to do it, I got the claim to go thru in April. THEN we had to take impressions, I work in an office now and they did 5 impressions which lasted another 3 months that doesnt happen in a good office!!. And they dont send them out to a lab, the guy does it in his home.. my partial was so messed up, THEY DIDNT FIX THE CAVITY WHERE THE PARTIAL METAL WIRE GOES AND IT BROKE MY CANINE TOOTH. These people are a joke. I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. Working in this industry now makes me so incredibly upset because of how these corporate dentist practices treat us.. The fact that I had no option for a treatment plan with any of the teeth and it went straight to extractions is horrible and scary. I can only imagine how many other people go thru this.it is not supposed to take a whole year, and be without teeth for 6 months because they didnt feel like it was urgent enough for them. I had looked at my X-Rays with my now Dr. that I work with and I could have had most of them fixed.. I lost 7 teeth due to these people. The receptionists are rude and its just a whole front to try to sell partials or dentures made by them not from insurance. That is why it took so long because they wanted us to pay out of pocket. So please if tyoure getting any work and especially partials or dentures DO NOT GO HERE. I am incredibly lucky to be working as a dental assistant, but its heartbreaking knowing I was too late and i couldve advocated for myself. SO please if you value your teeth please dont go here. I have the pictures and X-rays to document everything as well. Frank dont try calling me either you are all frauds and I cant wait to go to dental school to become a dentist who cares about their patients instead of just trying to make money.

Dr. Daviddov explained what he was doing before starting the cleaning. Didn’t hurt, didn’t feel rushed, and he gave a couple tips without sounding preachy. Really comfortable visit overall.

Dr. Daviddov took time to go over my x-rays and actually showed me what he was talking about. That helped a lot because I like understanding what’s going on instead of just being told I need something
