It’s been awhile since I’ve been to the dentist. With that being said, I went this last Monday to Bowling Green Family Dentist for the first time. From the moment I had walked into the office, they made me feel absolutely welcomed. Once I had finished the easy intake paperwork, I got called back by Ashlyn, who was remarkably helpful, supportive, diligent and didn’t make me feel bad about skipping out on the dentist. We came up with a really great and clear plan going forward to fix my smile. From the very beginning I knew how much everything was going to cost, and was given a few minutes to make sure all my ducks were in a row, before moving forward. This is the first time I’ve been to a dentist’s office where it didn’t feel like it was just about the money. Thanks for being willing to help me!
The staff were so friendly and kind, they made sure I knew and understood everything that they were doing and every cost that would be involved before they did the procedures. There was no guilt involved when finding out it had been a while since I had last seen a dentist and they weren’t pushy about procedures. Overall an excellent experience and I will be back.
I called at 11 in the morning and by 2 o'clock. That afternoon, my tooth was out, as a new patient that felt super quick. And the dentist always makes me anxious, but they did such a good job at keeping me calm I felt like they truly cared about my concerns and did everything they could to make it easy on me 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing an emergency pulling or anything else.
Any reason you all are quick to reply to good reviews but refuse to reply to bad actual factual reviews? People are nice and they got me in quick but they refuse to clean my teeth because they claim I have big pockets in my gums and need $1000 for a deep clean but I went to another dentist and they said I had perfect teeth and gums and they 100% are trying to scam me. So just be careful, instead of giving you a basic cleaning which would be better than nothing, they just refuse unless I’m willing to pay $1000 up front. Absolutely ridiculous always get a second opinion if they recommend anything. They even refused to show me the Xray of their "claims" Edit: actually went to 3 other dental offices and they all said the same exact thing. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Think about actually helping people and not your greedy desires. This is why people stop going to the dentist. Quick to reply to beneficial reviews but refuse to face when they know they are wrong. If someone doesn’t need a deep clean and you give it to them, it can cause irreversible damage to your teeth and gums and they were willing to do that for a few extra bucks so take that as you will.
⭐️ 1/5 — Very disappointed after spending over $20,000 here At first, I really liked this dental office. The front desk staff are still very sweet, and the dentist seemed great during my first few visits. But over time, things completely changed. I’ve spent around $20,000 here, and the quality of care and professionalism have gone downhill. I have severe OCD, so I pay close attention to details and ask questions about my dental work. Instead of being understanding, the dentist and hygienist began acting visibly annoyed and impatient, as if my concerns were a bother. I’ve had four different temporary crowns fall out within a week — some just from talking, not eating — and was still blamed for "eating with them in." When I tried to ask questions or express concerns, they brushed me off. The dental hygienist especially is extremely rude, always rushing and showing zero care for patients. During one visit, when I had to come back because my tooth needed to be shaved down more for the permanent crown, she started throwing her instruments on the table in frustration. Another time, when I said I could only handle getting the top teeth done that day because of pain, she pressured me to do the bottom teeth anyway because she "had nothing else to do." Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Most recently, my temporary crown broke off in the back after just a week, leaving me in extreme pain — I couldn’t eat or drink. When I called, the dentist initially refused to see me, and only agreed after I insisted. I was told it would be $100 to fix. After paying, they didn’t even replace the crown — they just put some glue over it in about 15 minutes. When I questioned why I was still being charged $100, the response was dismissive and rude. Overall, I feel like once they got paid for all my major dental work, the care, respect, and professionalism disappeared. No patient should ever be blamed for a temporary crown failing, nor charged full price for a "fix" that barely addressed the problem.
This was my first time here and it was very welcoming. The receptionist was nice and there were waters and plenty of room to sit along with tv to watch. The staff was informative and friendly and I’ll be going back for some work.
Everyone was nice and courteous. Even for someone who has dental anxiety, this place is amazing. Got me in within 3 days and didn't have to wait months to be seen. I will recommend them to anyone.
