Grove Dental Associates

I went to Grove as a kid and have tried to return as an adult. My experience at the Bolingbrook office has been awful. I’ve had a couple of fillings that popped out within a week, hygienists that were snippy, slow and clumsy, and now they refuse to do a cleaning because I don’t want X-rays. I called the day before my cleaning to say that my recent X-rays at another dentist would not be sent over in time. I was told that the treatment coordinator said it would not be a problem to continue with my cleaning anyway. Well, I get there at 7am and am told that she was misinformed. They mess around for 15 minutes before telling me this, so I don’t have time even if I was willing to give in to the money grab. I scheduled early because I needed to be out early, so I left. I understand that they can require this, but that’s why I called in advance, and forcing radiation is not ok. Just give me a waiver to sign. I’m done with Grove. What they say and what they do are two different things. They used to be really good, but there are better options in the area.

They were the best until investors purchased the practice. After sale everything went down. Daughter received 10 billing letters at once. I had a refund and was never notified. Loved my dentist but I had to leave.

I took time off work and my kids took time off of school to attend a mid-day appointment at Grove Dental for two kids. The dentist office eventually informed us they were unable to verify our insurance because the insurer was not "answering the phone" and then rudely told us to leave the office and reschedule because it was impossible to see the dentist anymore for that day. Later on, about three hours later, the office called back and confirmed they verified the insurance. I will never give this office business again after losing a half day of school for two kids and my own work time just to get kicked out of their office because of their incompetency. There are several competing businesses in the Bolingbrook area and I encourage you to explore those sites instead.

I had orthodontist consultation there. Very nice and clean. Staff were friendly and I did not have to wait for long. They followed the schedule and were considerate of my time. Xray was included in the consultation but did not discuss about it during the consultation. They told me they would reach out to me once they have the xray result but didn’t.

While the care provided by the dentist and hygienist are outstanding, the new kiosk check-in system is a disaster. I preregistered online and was given a QR code to show the scanner, which did not recognize it. The front desk staff, who had their hands full helping other patients with this system, told me to enter my birthdate. The kiosk indicated no patient born with on that day was scheduled for an appointment. The staff member then told me I was indeed registered. This stupid system creates more work for the staff and is a total waste of time and money. It should be tossed out.

amazing staff especially Dr. Mohammad Taqvi and his team. He installed two implants for me and did a wonderful job. I have five missing teeth congenitally and the staff were so helpful from billing to the end of the procedure. highly recommend and will be coming back for cleanings.

Dr. Taqvi and Assistant Dita did a wonderful job with my wisdom teeth extraction (#1 & #32 o believe). They were very patient with me and cared about my every reaction and always question and took the time to make sure I was comfortable all the way through, I could not have asked for a better group of individuals to have performed this surgery and I highly recommend all to have their dental needs taken care of at Grove Dental!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!!!
