Excellent Dr. and staff! Precision quality work that is second to none. I lost many top teeth from an accident and spent years with permanent bridges. They were uncomfortable, painful and I always had to be careful. I did a full upper replacement with Dr. Schlam using implants and couldn't be happier. Her husband did my oral surgery and he was great too. What a team! This is life changing and they look great. This is the smartest thing I ever spent money on and I notice the difference 24/7!

Dr. Schlam is an excellent Prosthodontist. If you have or are considering dental implants, I highly recommend that you have her perform the restoration and maintenance of them. She uses the latest dental technology and the results are stellar.

Dr. Schlam was a dream to work with. Lovely bedside manner, incredibly professional and kind. Her office is stylish and comfortable and their technology is cutting edge. She worked patiently with my young adult daughter giving her a beautiful new smile!

We need another prosthodontist in Bend so we aren’t all subject to Kim’s personal and awful practice.

Due to events completely out of my control, I found my bite so out of whack I could not chew food. Dr. Schlam was the solution. She listened to me. She understood my fears and my frustrations. She quickly made me feel like she really cared about me first and not my checkbook or her practice. She earned the little trust I had left for any dentist. Thank goodness! Dr. Schlam is the perfect combination of an artist and a scientist. She integrated the tried-n-true with cutting edge technology for my benefit. Her talent, compassion, skill and professionalism are top notch. We are all so very blessed to have her and her outstanding staff here in Central Oregon. I wish I could give more than five stars. If I could, I would give her and the staff one million!!

I have had so much dental work performed in the past. Some was good and some was poorly done. The moral of my story is that my choice of cheaper dental work cost me more of my money, pain and my time than quality work. Everything is changing now that I'm working with Dr. Schlam. Dr. Schlam was able to help me before I even knew that she was helping me. She identified an issue that was really bugging me (a front tooth with a receding gum line), she did this on first sight and confirmed with an xray. My newer front tooth implant had the abutment placed incorrectly on the initial placement, creating infection and bone loss causing my gumline to recede from the tooth. Dr. Schlam was able to use her cutting edge technology and experience to make my front teeth look equal again. A job well done and I have the confidence that she will stand behind her work. Here's where this review gets interesting... I've had so much work done, it's easy to say that Dr. Schlam is good with the needles - no pain there. The basic stuff - competent five star experience... It's the things you won't be expecting that will change everything. How about temporary crowns that look so good people compliment you on your new teeth? Yeah, that happened more than once... Dr. Schlam has relationships with the best labs so the permanent work will be top tier or it won't go in. She cares more about my teeth than I do, which is the first time I have ever felt this way in a dentist's office. I can trust her. Her office doesn't have a clinical feel, it has nicer lighting, more comfortable dental chairs, better equipment, the things that really make a difference when having serious work done. The support staff cares just as much and will make sure you have what you need in the form of breaks or water, etc... Dr. Schlam pays attention to the details that matter. It is my sincere hope that this review motivates you to sample what Dr. Schlam has to offer, and that you have an experience like mine, one that reset the bar on what excellent feels like.

Dr. Schlam, you've changed my life in more ways then I or you could have ever imagined. You brought me back to the world of the living with your amazing expertise, kindness and words of encouragement. I know I've been a difficult case medically but the changes are miraculous.
