Fan Zhang DDS Family Dentistry

Dr. Zhang is the best dentist I have ever met with. She is not only a professional doctor but also a friendly artist/writer. She cares about details and experience a lot. The treatment with her not only make your teeth clean but also refresh your mind and make your relaxed and comfortable.

The receptionist who answered the phone was terrible. I called to make an appointment for my child to have a wisdom tooth extraction, but the receptionist immediately refused, saying there was no doctor available today and that we would need to come in for an exam first. I was confused—I was only trying to schedule an appointment, I never said we wanted the extraction done right away. Why was she in such a rush to reject me? Then I explained that my child’s pediatric dentist already has all the exam records and they could be retrieved, but she replied, "If you already have a pediatric dentist, why are you coming here?" In short, she was very rude and seemed intent on turning us away. It’s really strange—after living in the U.S. for 10 years, I’ve never encountered such a rude receptionist

Dr. Zhang is kind, friendly, and an excellent dentist! I've been with her for a couple of years and each cleaning session with her has been good. She doesn't rush at all which is a great change from the other dentists that I have seen. She gives a deep cleaning every time. During the session she checks-in with me to ensure I'm not in any pain. She also found out by herself that my insurance allows for more cleanings per year than the two that every dentist schedules by default! Dr. Zhang never pressurizes me into any treatment and even for wisdom teeth removal she explained the reason and told me to "consider it next year when you're not busy with work" :⁠-⁠) Excellent dentist overall and would recommend her!

I had my wisdom teeth removed at Dr. Zhang's office. Dr. Zhang provided detailed instructions for the procedure and post-care. She is very skillful, and the teeth were removed quickly. I didn't experience any swelling or infections afterward, and I fully recovered within a couple of weeks. Making an appointment is also easy, as Dr. Zhang responds within 24 hours to voicemails. I highly recommend Dr. Zhang to my friends if they need a reliable dentist.

I have been patient of Dr. Zhang since 2007 and I am very happy for all the help she provided to me. My gums were in bad condition when I started seeing her, but after the deep cleaning and the recommendations she gave me, my teeth improved tremendously. She did also other dental work – like fillings and crowns. I have no complain whatsoever. She is extremely thorough in her cleaning and some patients find it a little painful, because she goes deep to clean the whole root. I can admit that sometimes it is unpleasant experience, but its better to feel a little pain and to be sure that your gums are taken care off. She is also very friendly and easygoing person, with good attitude. She gives you advices for all kinds of situations. I can highly recommend her.
