Highly recommend Dr. Chen and his team! I’ve been seeing him for five years for everything from routine checkups to implants. He is a true professional—always helpful, kind, and excellent at what he does. The front desk, hygienist, and dental assistants in the office are also great. The entire team is wonderful.

I, my husband, my kids and my parents have been patients of Dr Chen for 13 years now and we have had an excellent experience with his clinic for all our dental concerns. His clinic is blissful and he has been very professional and has never recommended me any unnecessary procedures like other dentists. I had a dentist in Bay Area recommend me root canal treatment for three of my molars 13 years ago. I moved to Seattle for work and since last 13 years Dr Chen hasn’t done a single root canal procedure on my teeth! I have recommended Dr Chen to many friends and family members and we are blessed to have his dental practice in Bellevue.

My family and I have been long-term patients of Dr.Chen for over 15 years(!!)… We absolutely adore working with his team and the culture of this office. They are supportive, flexible, kind, and remember all of the small details about you and your family. More than just a dentist office, I value the relationships that we’ve actually developed over these years—we are a bit of a fan club crew (Dr. Chen got a shout-out in our wedding program for the amazing job he did on my teeth through adult braces), and I could not recommend a better practitioner in the field. We love Bellevue Wellness Dental.

Both my routine cleaning and recent emergency appointment for a dislodged crown were handled with exceptional care. The entire staff, from the hygienist to Dr. Chen, demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and a commitment to patient education. Dr. Chen's explanations were clear and concise, ensuring I fully understood my treatment options. His recommendations felt genuine and personalized, demonstrating a genuine concern for my well-being. Unlike previous dental experiences, I did not feel pressured or rushed during my appointments. The dental assistant's empathy and informative approach helped alleviate any anxiety I may have felt during the emergency procedure. After visiting doctor Stanford Chen for the past 1.5 years, I’m very disappointed with recent visit. I have always done my bi-annually dental cleaning and keep flossing my teeth regularly, they told me I need deep cleaning treatment and simply just washed/brushed my teeth for 15 minutes and ask me to schedule deep cleaning appointments. After throughout consideration, I decided not to proceed with deep cleaning treatment and wanted a normal cleaning that I have done 3 visits with them. However, the front desk told me I have already had a cleaning during my visit. I don’t think what I received was a cleaning that I usually received in the past 3 visits. The hygienist simply just washed and brushed my teeth with her tools and didn’t clean my teeth as detailed as they used to. The appointment only lasted for 15 minutes and they counted that as a cleaning. It feels like if I don’t accept the deep cleaning treatment they just don’t care about me anymore. I’m very very disappointed!

I switched to Bellevue Wellness Dental and have been working with Dr. Chen and his superb staff for many years, back when the firm was Bellevue Comfort Dental. The staff has been awesome over the years. The staff have always been professional and highly recommended. The waiting room is always clean and the kids area keeps the wee ones engaged (once they came along).
