Bethel Church of Oregon

I am one of the pastors serving at Bethel Church. I have been here for the last 15 years since 2001. God has a wonderful plan for this church and it has been exciting to see God's mighty hands touching many lives. This church has a deep hunger for God and desire to love others. We are blessed with great pastoral staffs and encouraging elders. I am also challenged by the church members who are my inspirations as they struggle to live out their faith.

In a large and beautiful new church building, traditional Korean worship services are held. The right gospel is being preached, and there are so many right Christians who are doing the Lord's work voluntarily. In particular, programs for children and young adults are organized and run well.

I visited Oregon Korean Bethel Presbyterian Church last year. I could find that the church was full of the love and grace of the Lord, even if I stayed at the church for short time. The preaching of the Senior pastor was inspired by the Holy Spirit and gave deep impression to me. Also, the members of the church were very nice and they greeted me so warmly. While having worship service at the church, I understood how much the Lord loved and blessed the congregation. In particular, the KBPC is a unique Korean Church to have a ministry system for the people with Disabilities in Oregon State. Devoted and well-trained staffs educate and take care of the children with physical or intellectual disabilities with the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ. If you have a disabled child and need a care and comfort from the Lord, I strongly recommend that you should visit KBPC and have a counsel with the staffs of the church.

Very warm and bible believing Christians. I love to go there. It completes my life. Pastors are great communicators with great teachings. The sermons are always insightful. Both Korean and English ministries are graceful.

This church has been an anchor and a blessing for me and my husband when we moved to Oregon last spring right before Covid hit. We knew no one, and the church also shut down after attending it twice due to the pandemic but we were able to stay connected with online Bible studies with the folks from the welcome team checking on us occassionally. The teaching is solid - gentle yet does not veer away from essential hard truths. It will help you keep your eyes on eternity while navigating your daily walk on this side of heaven 🙂 At the newly finished building, right now the 1st (8:15am) and 3rd sevice (11:45am) is in Korean language, 2nd service @ 10am is in English. My family recently moved away from the area due to a job situation, but until the last minute we were loved and sent away with a blessing. Granted, we do our Christian walk fixing our eyes on Christ and not on people - because even the most mature people will fall and can let you down from time to time. However it's a great benefit and a gift to find a healthy church with devoted people and leadership. Highly recommend not only to be blessed but also to get involved and serve and make it your home - though I did not get to serve a whole lot.. but you can worship God in whatever circumstance you are in and you'll be blessed because you came 🙂

The church has an amazing Medical and Dental outreach program that happens quarterly on site. It is run by church volunteers who are doctors and dentists in various fields (family, eye, foot, chiropractic, oral surgery) and is open to anyone who needs care but cannot afford it. I spent four years at Korean Bethel Presbyterian Church which was pivotal in my spiritual growth. Thanks to the leadership, I had numerous opportunities to serve and lead. This is a church I would highly recommend to any young adult who are seeking a Christ-seeking community.
