Inner Harbor Dental Associates

I visited Charles Dental Care a year ago for work on my teeth, I felt very uncomfortable with the service. My lady referred me to Harbor Dental Associates where I truly felt the professional care, genuine and softness I needed for a delicate, emotional process, not feeling rush, every process, even with cash I have to fork up. Care and transparency which made me move forward with the process from the sweet young lady’s having genuine conversation easing my anxiety. They haven’t done any work yet, but send repeated text messages to ensure my comfort and communication. After the work I will return for more work I need, insure I’ll be well taken care of. My son receives dental cleanings at this office. Each time, they require payment upfront and tell him that they will submit the claim to the insurance, stating that a refund will be issued if the service is covered. However, the refund process consistently takes an excessive amount of time. We have had to make multiple follow-up calls to inquire about the status of the refund. Most concerning, it is extremely difficult to reach their office by phone—calls are rarely answered unless you are a new patient.

The employees were very competent, effective, friendly and knowledgeable. Each staff member explained to me what they were doing in details. I felt comfortable with them and didn't feel intimidated or pressured to do have anything done that I didn't want.

I've been going here for about 5 years now and things have been great. Appointments start on time. Staff are friendly. I was prompted to write this review though by a new hygienist I saw today named Nicole, who I was impressed by. She accurately guessed various brushing/flossing habits just by looking at my mouth and took the time to give me advice and show me the proper technique, which no other dentist has done for me before (it also took many years before anyone noticed that I had clenching issues). Even when I was a child I just kind of followed the gist of what I had seen other people do and no one ever corrected me. These days I could probably google all of this but it's so engrained I hadn't really given it any thought. I could see where someone would find it annoying to be badgered with this information, but I feel like it does bear mentioning at least once. Doctors/dentists/nurses/hygienists shouldn't make assumptions about what people know or what their attitudes are toward their health unless they have evidence to support it.

I have never enjoyed s dental visit more in my life! Dr Lee took the time to explain everything! Taylor,Nina,Nicole,Maisie, and all the front desk staff were awsome!!! Everyone deserves a raise!!!

Great place. Everyone was so helpful and nice. I never been to a dentist and was able to be helped same day. Will be back for sure

Beyond great experience, I am glad to have found a new dental home that I can stay with for years to come! Dr. Juan Loyola services were beyond the FIVE stars. And all the support staff was AMAZING! Thanks for everything and glad to find a new place.for dental treatment!!
