Dr.Kang is one of the best dentists around. I moved to California but I still come to him because the dentists I had there were just ok. He has the best hands in the business…and that makes all the difference when you need a filling or crown. Great staff that does a thorough cleaning without too much pain.

I had some unsettling experiences with Dr. Kang a few years ago, but I’m writing this review now after learning that my mother had similar issues—which made me even more angry. My experience: While visiting from college, I scheduled a simple cleaning. During the visit, Dr. Kang claimed that a previous tooth bonding I had done years ago was "botched" and needed to be redone. Trusting his judgment, I returned during my next break to have it fixed. However, midway through the procedure, I noticed he was cutting into my gums after the local anesthetic was done. When I asked why, he casually stated, "We're not doing the bonding today. You need to come back again because this is causing gum disease." This became a pattern. Each visit, he would find new "problems" requiring additional procedures—some of which weren’t covered by my insurance. He undid my tooth bonding and left it unfixed since he had to do the procedure he wanted. This was not informed to me and I was left with a tooth gap for a semester until I had time to come back and get that done. My mother had similar experiences, where she was repeatedly told she had cavities or gum issues, only to be told by a reputable dentist later that none of it was true. She also spoke with others who had visited Dr. Kang and heard similar complaints. This office seems more focused on unnecessary treatments for $$$ than patient care. We felt that we were taken advantage of and hundreds and thousands of dollars wasted with unsolicited treatments received. Based on my experience and what I've learned from others, I cannot recommend Dr. Kang in good conscience.

A truly well educated and thorough dentist with the best care I have ever received. He has treated my grandfather, parents, and child for their diverse dental needs. He will not push anything unnecessary. Highly recommend Dr. Kang for any dental work!

The best dentist I have ever been to hands down! He is the first dentist I’ve met that seems to genuinely care about his patients wellbeing and not just about their wallets! I came to see Dr. Kang because I had an infection in my tooth from a butchered root canal at another establishment a couple years back. What I liked about Dr. Kang is how honest and direct he was about the issue and the solutions. Just speaking to him briefly, one can tell he has YEARS of experience and expertise. Been to many dentists in my short life but Dr. Kang is the first dentist whom I had complete faith in. Staff was also very pleasant and courteous from the receptionist to the assistant. You can tell everyone here really respects Dr. Kang, and I think that really speaks volumes about his character and abilities. Dr. Kang also has a good sense of humor, which is always nice when you’re anxious. I have been to other dentists where it is just flat out awkward and you can tell they are just trying to get you in and out. One thing that really stuck out to me and made me think this man really cares for his patients was the fact that he remembered my mother. I was referred here by my mom and Dr. Kang asked me about her when I told him who referred me. He remembered seeing her and that was about a year ago!

Dr. Kang has been my dentist since I was a teenager and I would never trust anyone else to do the amazing job he does in my and my Family's dental care. His staff is always understanding and attentive to making every visit a comfortable and easy one.

Been going ti him for over35 years,when I first went to him another dentist wanted to pull all my teeth I still have some teeth to this day, he goes outta the way to work with you on everything and anything to help your smile last a lifetime so thankful to have found him Great staff
