Peak Health Dentistry at Gentle Care

I don't even know where to start with how satisfied I am with my experience with Peak Health Dentistry. From answering a voicemail I left on Christmas Eve that night, to trying to get me in sooner than our scheduled appointment, to the professional and personal care provided by DR Esplin and the team; this is the dental office I have been searching for. I hadn't gone back for my permanent crown for about 3 years as we had moved across town but I am glad I called them for my dental emergency when the temp broke on Christmas Eve. They got me back in and miraculously had my crown still. Maybe an hour later my crown is affixed and I am able to eat happily once more. Needless to say I have found my home for my dental needs and can actually look forward to going to the dentists when the need arises.

It was my first visit to Peak Health Dentistry and my first trip to the dentist since COVID. Dan was my hygienist; he was extremely nice and didn't make me feel bad that so much time had elapsed since my last cleaning. He offered the VELscope oral cancer screening and explained how it worked, as well as the fact that it would be an additional charge. Dr. Esplin came in after the cleaning to discuss the X-rays and laid out a plan of care for repairing some extremely old (35+ years) fillings that are starting to fail, explaining which are priorities and which could wait a bit longer.

I've been coming here for a little over a few years now, and everytime I do, I feel welcome. Everyone here has treated me well from the moment I step through the door. Check-ups, cleanings, fillings, etc., all done well and quickly. I have yet to be somewhere that treats me as well as the people that work here. I genuinely feel at ease being worked on here.

Who enjoys the trip to the dentist, whether for a regular visit or a more invasive dental procedure - few of us do. I’ve always had a lot of anxiety about dentist visits and avoided going for longer than I should have. When I needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction, I was nervous, but this office made the entire process smooth and stress-free. From start to finish, the staff was kind and reassuring. The procedure itself was surprisingly easy; I don’t remember any pain or discomfort at all. When they woke me up, I was honestly shocked at how quick it was—I even asked, "Is that it??" I still have more dental work ahead, but this experience gave me so much confidence about coming back. 10/10 dentist and staff. Highly recommend for anyone who struggles with dental anxiety.

I've always had a great experience at Peak Health! All their staff is great! Dr.Mishler is phenomenal at his job and genuinely cares! I've had to have a lot of work done and the results have been amazing every time! Highly recommend!
