⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent First Visit Experience! Today was my first visit to Aspen Dental in Ames, IA, and it was a truly pleasant experience from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, guiding me through every step of the process. I decided to join their savings plan, which allowed me to get my X-rays and dental check-up free of cost. The clinic environment was clean and comfortable, and I was very impressed by the professionalism of the team. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and used sterile, sealed equipment for the examination, which made me feel safe and well cared for. Highly recommend Aspen Dental in Ames for anyone looking for friendly, professional, and hygienic dental care! I am really grateful Jason and lady doctor (hygiene) for their time and guidance. Now I am ready for my wisdom teeth extraction in their set up. Great job, keep it up........Muhammad Jamil

Overall, I'm glad I had my procedure here. I like the Doc, Jason in the office is great, and Ila (sp?) Have been exceptional. I did have significant mishaps due to other staff's incompetence, too. More good than bad but u must advocate for yourself.

Really Impressed with Aspen Dental they explained throughly and showed me diagrams of the procedure, Friendly and kind staff. They make you feel comfortable during the checkup. Great service, glad I choose them. Thank you

The equipment looks all 2nd hand and damaged and when it comes to oral health this is rather concerning. They do not clean teeth on the first visit and make you pay for furture treatment before you leave if you want to schedule it. The staff was slow to get work done but friendly. I was asked the same question by all employees that i had already filled out on the pre-visit form so it felt like they didn't bother using any of the information provided nor communicate with eachother. Very disappointing service from a dentist office.

I went to Aspen Dental on duff in Ames Iowa and I got in to see Dr Damon Pogoncheff . He is a very thorough and good at his profession, he explains everything to you and answers all questions and makes sure you are comfortable while you’re working is being done. The people that work the front of the office are very pleasant and makes you feel comfortable to be there. I’d go back to Dr Damon if I needed any more work done.

ABSOLUTE HELL DO NOT GO!!! My face was swollen from an infection from my wisdom tooth surgery and I couldn’t get back to my oral surgeon so I went here. The front desk people started gaslighting me telling me I didn’t look that swollen and that they didn’t know why I was there. I was noticeably swollen and in an incredibly amount of pain. I wasted TWO HOURS of my life in their waiting room as I had a 2 pm appointment and they took me at 4pm. Why even bother having appointments at this point? When I was taken back I sat in the chair for another 45 mins waiting. The dental assistant started gaslighting me telling me I looked so swollen on both sides. It was just the one side, only one socket has a problem. I was waiting so long and all by myself , that my jaw started throbbing again and so I cried. No one asked me if I was okay. Finally the dentist came in looked in my mouth for max 2 mins and went to leave. So I started asking questions like do you know what’s wrong and why does this keep happening? Every question was met with an "I don’t know" and " I’m not an oral surgeon ". He did nothing to help me, didn’t even try to flush it himself. He knew absolutely NOTHING. I’ve never experienced this level of gross incompetence from a medical professional. I wonder if he was actually certified or anything because it seemed like he didn’t have any dental knowledge AT ALL. He did prescribe me antibiotics but NO pain killers. It’s like this entire office just wanted me to suffer and didn’t care about me as a patient. I even asked to be prescribed some Tylenol and he wouldn’t. Anyways, the next day I went to the pharmacy to pick up the antibiotics and this is the cherry on top, the real kicker. HE NEVER SENT THEM IN!!!!!!!!!!! So I started frantically calling their office. NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE!! So then I start calling the emergency line. NO ONE PICKS UP THE EMERGENCY LINE!!! Why do you even bother having an emergency line if your not going to bother picking it up!?!?? THIS IS THE WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!! SAVE YOURSELF, DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!
