Phan Family Dentistry

I got a good cleaning and checking my teeth with x-rays taken. My teeth feel great and look good. The staff are all very pleasant to interact with and be around. You feel that you are getting high quality treatment.

The folks at Phan Family Dentistry are always very pleasant and do a great job. I haven’t had any major dental problems in the 15 or so years I’ve had them as my dentist. And my teeth always feel and look great after a cleaning.

As expected, my 6 month dental checkup with Phan Family Dentistry went very well. Dr. Phan himself did my thorough cleaning. He always gives me excellent dental advice. I trust him unconditionally. I actually look forward to going to the dentist because of this wonderful and trustworthy dental practice --and this includes the entire staff!

The staff are friendly. I usually see Dr. Dao. I'm old and have a lot of experience with dentists. Dr. Dao is at the top of my list. He has a great sense of humor, cares about a patient's comfort, and kindly provides dental hygiene instructions based on my needs rather than giving me a boilerplate instruction sheet.

It shouldn't take 2 hrs. to prep a tooth for a cap. Never again. Can't open my mouth wide without pain after a month. May be permanent. Tooth doesn't feel stable. Worst dental work I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

I brought my 74-year-old mother, who is frail and in poor health, to Dr. Phuong X. Phan for care, and the experience was deeply upsetting. At one visit, Dr. Phan rushed through the appointment and left without making sure my mother understood how to take her medication. At the next visit, my mother went through a painful deep cleaning that Dr. Phan completed in barely ten minutes. She ignored my mother’s repeated pleas to slow down and did not wait for the anesthesia to take effect. My mother was trembling, bleeding, and in tears by the end of the appointment. When I raised my concerns about how rough and rushed the procedure was, Dr. Phan refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and became defensive. For an elderly patient in visible pain, this lack of compassion and care felt negligent and completely unprofessional. No patient—especially a senior in fragile health—should ever be treated this way.

My family has been going for years. Always happy with the work and the great staff they have. I just had work done on a broken front tooth. The results are amazing.
