Dr Kim and his staff act treat you like they really want your business and really care about you! I really like that this is a smaller practice and Dr Kim himself is readily accessible. Dr Kim is a throwback that you unfortunately don't see much anymore - he is a dentist who takes great pride in his profession and for him it isn't all about maximizing profit. He is willing to take the time to explain your options and the work he does is exceptionally well done at a reasonable price. Another important point for me is that his staff are very friendly and cooperative and they look to make things convenient for you both on scheduling and billing. For example, they are willing to take the time to explain to you how they are going to bill insurance and what part you might be responsible for and if there are issues with the insurance company (as there inevitably are) they let you know and explain to you what you have to do. They also willing to work with you on scheduling and are flexible on making appointments during off hours which I have not seen from other dentists around here. I recently moved all of my family's dental care from a much larger practice in the Franconia area because the larger practice wasn't nearly as flexible or responsive as Dr Kim and his staff are. Great experience working with Franconia Dental Care! Highly recommend them!

Dr. Kim and his staff are an excellent team for dental care. Their expertise and kindness are unmatched, and I am completely satisfied with their service. Dr. Kim explained the pros and cons of treatment options from the patient’s viewpoint, and I feel that the procedures were minimally painful. The dental office is nicely organized and clean, and I feel comfortable in there. I have no reservation to recommend Dr. Kim’s team to my friends.

In 2009, my daughter recommended that I go to see Dr. Joongseo Kim. In the past, I had not had the best dental care and I needed lots of work: cavities, crowns, implants, you name it - I needed it all. Now, I have been his patient for over twelve years! Dr. Kim and his staff are kind and caring, and they know their patients. Dr. Kim takes the time to explain what needs to be done and he follows through with professional care. The bottom line is I have not had any issues with the work that Dr. Kim has performed in the past twelve years! I recommend him to my family and friends especially when they compliment me on my smile.

I've always received excellent dentistry and on-time service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about my insurance. Dr. Kim is very skilled, professional, and personable. I also appreciate that he is always happy to answer any questions you may have and in any level of detail that you want.

I've been going to Dr. Kim for over 10 years. A great staff runs the office well and rarely have I never got in on time which is not the case at most Dr's offices. Dr. Kim and his team are always professional and help to ensure the best care during appointments and gives ample recommendations and guidance to keep teeth clean in between appointments. Franconia Dental Care provides excellent service at a reasonable cost. Dr. Kim has almost 35 years of experience as a specialist in dental crowns and implants so right off the bat, I knew he was skilled. He strikes me as highly intelligent and an expert in his field. As important, his care for me as a patient was excellent. Nine months ago I had major tooth pain and found Franconia Dental Care by luck. Dr. Kim carefully listened to my explanation of the pain I was experiencing, took some X-rays, and quickly diagnosed my problem. He was the third dentist I visited for the pain and was the only one who listened to me and developed a reasonable treatment plan. His treatment gave me almost instant relief from what was excruciating pain. He also welcomed my input to the plan and was conscious of the cost, keeping me completely informed throughout treatment. Right away, I got two root canals and then a couple months later, two crowns. The root canals were performed by another superb dentist, Dr. Chung, who has the best bedside manner and patience of any dentist I’ve been to in 50 years. Dr. Kim brought Dr. Chung in on two Saturdays to perform the root canals. Dr. Kim subsequently prepped my teeth for the crowns and installed and fit them perfectly. Everyone who works at this practice is friendly and welcoming. The dental hygienist, Sue - who also has a gentle touch and has great bedside manner - gives excellent cleanings. My teeth have never looked so good and don’t hurt anymore. I wish I would’ve found this practice a long time ago, but I’m glad I found it now.

Dr. Kim has been my dentist since 2010. He placed an implant in an upper molar when another dentist wouldn't attempt it. He is obviously extremely knowledgeable with the myriad facets of dentistry, but I assume implants are his greatest specialty. He is very kind, personable, and patient with his demeanor and his treatment style. All my cleanings and treatments are done in his office in Vienna. He takes extra time for X-rays and to explain and show the patient what problems they have and what his plan is to treat them. I have never had a dentist I've felt more comfortable with, or with whom I had greater trust. He always has very competent staff to assist him, even Mrs. Kim on occasion. Mary, the receptionist, is very kind and personable and goes the extra mile to schedule me at convenient times, as I now have to travel almost 2 hours to the clinic in Vienna.
