Dr. N Navalgund is more than a stellar dentist. She has compassion, empathy, and a fierce determination to ensure that patients are treated well by not only her knowledge and skills in dentistry, but also her ability to make you feel her intrinsic quality of caring. After working in the public sector in finance and banking for years, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The medicine that I had to take to manage the disease destroyed my teeth. At a rather moderate pace, my teeth started decaying, breaking, and splitting. I never realized how much of an emotional toll this would take on me. I couldn’t smile for fear of judgement and my own self esteem and confidence took a huge hit on me. I was subsequently diagnosed with breast cancer, and the disease modifying drugs also caused problems with my oral health. I had to leave my career, meaning I had no insurance. I fortunately was able to qualify for Medicaid that covered dental. I found Summa Dental, and made an appointment. The Office Manager Katarina, along with Dental assistants Rachael and Devin went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience. I was so fortunate to be treated by Dr. Navalgund. She is so invested in positive outcomes for her patients and understands how important smiling can be on so many levels. From the exam, to the action plan, to the actual dental work, including surgery and extractions, Dr. Navalgund strives for and provides excellent outcomes. Thank you, Dr. Navalgund for giving me my smile back, and for the excellent care you provide your patients. I will always be thankful for you. ~Melissa M.

They are the worst place I've ever seen . Measure for upper dentures when the whole mouth was still severely swollen. I'm Bob Reddick pleased to meet you the roof of my mouth was so swelled so the dentures were too wide the roof of the mouth the pallet wasn't even far back enough constant pain I wait in July of 2024 after getting the dentures in June was 121pds by the end of December I weighed 101 pounds constant pain moving around kept reporting this they ignored me. February the dentist said that they made them too wide and the top part of the palate wasn't even far enough. Refuse to make me new ones even though they admitted on a recording line that they made him too big constant pain inflamed roof of my mouth non-stop orajel. Said I would have to pay cash for their mistake for failure to make ill fitting dentures. Neglected to properly make the molds.. can I eat the upper and lowers move all around had to miss events has caused this figuring of my facial and jaw pain. File a complaint with the dental. Of Columbus also CareSource. This could cause serious conditions it is already caused wasting syndrome lost 5% of body weight. Signed papers twice to get my total records have not received them that was in May & June. I wouldn't even put one star

By the comments and reviews, I don't think I want to risk my life for this nerve. Update, Just got first part of rc, this guy I had almost didn't know what the heck they were doing. They didn't apply enough numbness. I was thinking I was going to get an expert, apparently not, I got a beginner.

Worst customer service; my partner was turned away because we don't have physical copies of our dental cards. He also saw 2-3 other people being turned away for various reasons. It seems like you make an appointment, wait 3 weeks, and get turned away for any reason they come up with. Waste of time. Edit to add: my partner tried to make another appointment for the new year when he'll have his own physical card for dental insurance and they told him because he never had an appointment he wasn't already a patient and they're not accepting new patients 🙃 you'd think they want to take care of patients instead of making them find somewhere else to get care!

I want to formally make a complaint about my experience with the appointment scheduler on June 26th, which happened at 10:42 am. I was talking to a woman, and she was very short and unprofessional. Usually, there are customer service prompts to say to a person that is trying to get an appointment scheduled, but the phone call was often met with awkward pauses where I had to tell her that I wanted my appointment scheduled. She was short with me and it seemed like she didn't want to do her job. I was so baffled at the way she was talking to me that I muttered the words, "oh my god" and hung up on her. Usually, I am forgiving about this sort of behavior, but she needs to be retrained. Also, I wanted to give her my insurance to make sure they took it, but she refused and said that I had to come in which is not true. I called another Dental Office and they took my info over the phone to make sure they took it. I don't think I will come back to this office for Dental work.

If I could leave ZERO STARS, I would. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I had little options due to insurance, but as a nurse, I have an understanding of how things should run and they treat you like cattle. I had part of a filling fall out/dental emergency from their work less than 7 days after it was completed and I was told they couldn't get me in for 2.5 weeks ... "all our emergency slots are filled, but you can just come sit here and wait for someone not to show up..." and pay for parking, too? RUN!

in April of 2023 til February this year I've been getting appointments to getting all my teeth removed yes you talking about a big thing for me the staff were amazing! I now have my dentures just got them last week fits perfect, I love my smile, I can eat and feel so comfortable with them I thank you all so much for excellent customer service I'm so overwhelmed with happiness with you all support on my whole process ❤️ 😊
