I have to thank John at the Yuba city Ulta for all his help and encouragement. John was awesome and and was so kind and patient. He took the time to educate me on my mature skin needs. All the products he helped me pick made a huge difference and I feel beautiful. Thank you John 🥰

Great store with a big assortment of cosmetics 💄 you can find brands from Elf to Este Lauder. There are also beauty salons and stuff for hair. Employees are very nice to customers 👍

Customer service severely lacking. I'll pump it up to 2 stars because I did find what I needed despite the fact that I had NO assistance. It is a very large store; clean and neat. There were a few bare shelves, but overall, a decent selection of products. I pretty much had to search every shelf to find what I was looking for. A small brand. I was very surprised that no staff were on the floor. There were two ladies receiving make-overs and two cashiers (and only two customers checking out). I saw one person wheeling in some new stock, but even though I tried to make eye-contact, they didn't even acknowledge me. Customers in the store seemed to be there for recreation and not shopping. Finally, I have to mention the first time I visited this store was at the end of the pandemic and my husband was with me. We walked in and walked out. There was such an unbearable scent of perfume or room freshener, that neither of us could breathe! I did not experience that today, but mention it here because I didn't expect to return to this store. I MUCH prefer Sephora for the customer service and product selection--FAR superior.

Great place to find the right cologne. Walked in and tried a few colognes and went with Chanel bleu. Staff was friendly and helpful.

They didn't have everything, but their customer service was very good for the ones I interacted with. Mostly I spoke with the person at the benefit counter. She was quick to address my question (gift for someone, this is price range). Found a great one from the start... And I couldn't find a better one myself after. She was knowledgable about the store and where items were. She also knew when they didn't stock a certain item. Very on the ball. The person who was the cashier (I think was the manager) was also very Friendly and helpful. Great store.

I came in today looking to purchase my regular old spf hydration cream by Bare Minerals. Unfortunately they were sold out. But alas a wonderful and charismatic and charming associate offered me assistance. John was delightful and very knowledgeable. John knew what I was looking for even though I had trouble expressing my desire to actually wear more makeup. He took the time to show me how to apply and helped me find the right shades. More importantly he excels at his career choice, and is friendly and genuine. I hope more people find him and get to enjoy the sheer joy of all that he taught me in the world of makeup. When I came home my husband loved my new look so I think John's help was a win at this Ulta today.

I came in looking for a few makeup essentials, and I was blown away by the selection! The store offers high-end products, but with affordable pricing. The staff was friendly and took the time to find the perfect shades for my complexion. The value and quality of the items are unmatched. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
