Was here last night buying a product near the register the girl sitting down was extremely rude. Not how can I help you, it was what do you want or looking for. I wasn’t bothering her I was looking for one product and was going to leave. I bought benefit porefessionals not my fault you guys don’t stock it where it’s located in the store for the smaller version. Being west Des Moines you’d think they’d be nicer nope rude. Just cause you’re in a bad mood doesn’t mean you should take it out on customers if you don’t like your job you can find another one instead of being mean you don’t know what other people go through.

I was nervous about my first brow lamination and tint! Chris did an amazing job and walked me through the process. He frequently asked me if I liked the way the brows were being styled to achieve the look I was going for.

My favorite Ulta location in the DSM metro! The staff was sweet and very polite. It’s always so clean and organized too. I always feel comfortable in my skin walking in and I love how diverse the staff is. In the picture is my most recent mini haul!

The general manger told me and my friend to leave because we were chatting to a worker we knew she whispered into our friend that works here’s ear and I quote " can u tell ur friends to leave" which was rude because we literally heard her and were shopping but after hearing we decided that we shouldn’t buy anything from this establishment and instead went out of our to go to the nearest Sephora to get the same product. This was very rude and it was giving microaggression since she said that to the only black customers in the store! 😡😡😡 very disappointing and dissatisfied!!!!

Do not go to Jiji for your blonde or if you have curly hair! I made an appointment to get my roots refreshed as I recently moved to the area. Every step took more than one attempt as spots were missed. I still came out with large spots of hair not toned correctly and all the curl blown out of my hair and replaced with frizz. My back is drenched from how poorly controlled the washing process was. The worst part is right before I left, Jiji said, Sorry if your hair is wack. This is what I would expect from a student who has never done blonde hair before, not someone who is supposed to be providing these services as a professional.

This Ulra Beauty is kind and helpful, even to a grandma who doesn't dress just right. After a certain age, you're often overlooked at these stores. But not if Hannah F. Is there! She's a ray of sunshine who knows just what you need - for hourself, your daughters, or granddaughters. I adore her. Even if I came in for 2 things and left with their largest bagfull!

I have been dealing with some under eye dryness since moving to Iowa, and luckily I was able to find something here to help! I talked to a licensed aesthetician with purple hair (didn't get her name, sorry!) and she was super helpful. She asked about my routine, what products I already used, and what price range I was going for. She not only helped me find a product, but she gave me recommendations on how to use it and offered for me to come back if it didn't work. This was by far the most pleasant experience I've had shopping in a physical Ulta store. Thank you 🙂
