Highly recommend this Salon. Suzanne is amazing! She is so knowledgeable. I always get great compliments on my haircuts and highlights. I am so happy to find someone so caring and loving. Thank you Suzanne you are a gem.

I feel terrible leaving a bad review..but my hair is awful. I had my hair cut twice there with the same stylist and she's always done an amazing job. I recently went for highlights. And they were extremely blotchy and a line across the front of my hair when it's pulled back. I wear my hair up a lot .I left in the parking lot. Saw they were bad went back, which unfortunately was at the end of the day. It took several attempts and processing to fix. It was a lot of extra work for her to do so I felt bad she was stuck there and had a long busy day. Well, She fixed them and I looked ok/bettter that day. I just washed my hair and the lines are back after one wash. I'm embarrassed how my hair looks. I don't live nearby. I can't go back for her to fix it and honestly.. I'm not sure she could. It was processed so much that I'm afraid to do anything else with it right now so I'm just going to have to wait it out. And unfortunately I can't afford another salon to do the color correction...so I'm stuck.What I was hoping to be a good experience did not turn out that way. I feel bad leaving a poor review, she's a nice stylist/person ..but now I'm stuck with hair I don't love, and can't do anything about...and now can't afford to fix. I paid in cash, So I can't even call the manager to ask for a refund. *Update*: I was able to speak with the VP of operations through email who stated that because I left a poor review on social media " there's nothing we can do for you here". I reached out asking for a refund because though the stylist offered for me to come back for her to fix it again. I live too far and unfortunately I don't think it's healthy to process my hair further at this point. I did appreciate her phone call, and again nothing against the stylist because she is a very nice lady who did her best to try to fix it, it just wasn't fixable. She cuts hair great but this highlight job did not go well. Hence why her name is nowhere on my review. I was responded with (from VP/owner) being told I am a scam artist that left "30 other bad reviews for other salons, go take my scam somewhere else" and "good riddance". Which is far from the truth you can see yourself. In fact, I typically go to a high and salon near my home for my highlights, but since the stylist cut my hair well a few times I wanted to give her a try at it. Needless to say I will not be going back. I learned a valuable lesson to stick to your one salon that does a good job 100% of the time. It does not pay to try someplace new. I've shared pictures to prove I'm not a "scam artist". I'm a real person, who spent real money at this salon.

I met Suzanne today and she gave me one of the best color and cuts I’ve ever had. My hair is very dark brown, almost black naturally and look at how nicely she stacked the back! Exactly what I asked for. Thank you!!!!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW SALON/STYLIST I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON! If I could give this place 10 stars I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! I was recommended to get my hair done here by my mother’s friend Angela who works there. When I walked in I was greeted by the manager Gloria & Angela walked me back to the chair where I met the AMAZING hair artist Susanne! I have A LOT of hair so I always hesitate going somewhere new but when I tell you I just found my hairdresser for LIFE! I am not kidding! Susanne was absolutely amazing. She is so kind and so welcoming, I felt like I’ve known her for years! I went in for highlights, color and a haircut & she did an amazing job I don’t even have words! She took her time and explained everything she was doing, step by step and constantly made sure I was comfortable. It really was truly an amazing experience! I can’t wait to go back! She is an artist and you can tell she LOVES what she does & making people feel good! 10/10 recommend!

I went to the salon her for the first time today. I had dark dark brown/black hair and wanted highlights. I knew there was a chance they weren’t going to lift fully with the bleach, but I wanted to start so I can go lighter in the future. Suzanne was so kind and helpful, she took me as a walk and worked me around her other clients. When we were done, she was not happy with how the bleach lifted so she offered me to stay and do it again. She said she didn’t want me to leave with hair that we both weren’t happy with! I’m so happy I stayed! My hair looks so great and I am definitely a happy customer! Thank you Suzanne for putting up with my thick head of black hair! I appreciate all you did to help me! And also, Angela the front counter woman was so sweet and helpful! I will definitely be coming back! Hard workers, great results and super affordable!

My wife went for a haircut the lady cut her necklace off, yes it was an accident but they gave her $20 shampoo and my wife still paid for the hair cut. And they think it’s ok because it’s an accident. We were told someone would call my wife and no call. It’s not a cheap necklace it was a few hundred dollars and a gift from our daughter. I went in the lady was standing offish and said well I gave her shampoo that’s the cost of getting it fixed $20 is not the cost of repair. She was just hoping it would go away accidents happen yes but it should be made right not trying to blow it off hoping it goes away

I highly recommend Julie, who works at The Beauty Store and Salon in Toms River!!! Julie did an amazing job cutting my hair! I am so grateful I found her!! Best of all, she really listened! The price was very reasonable too!!
