Today was my birthday, I went in to redeemed my birthday gift. For some reason my rewards weren't showing up in the system. Or something like that. Lol. The sales associate up front Tylee helped me. No questions asked. Just simply help me. No attitude was nice and friendly. She also wished me happy birthday two times. Which i liked,it made me feel special. Lol. Thank you Ulta!!

Kaitlyn helped me today finding the perfect products that are best for my pregnancy skin . She is so kind. I felt like I was talking to a best friend when I was getting my make up from her. All of her suggestions are in my new favorite thing. This location is super friendly 10/10

2026 Recent Update: I always shopped at Ulta, but after my last experience, I haven’t gone back. When you think about it, Sephora actually treats customers well—and Amazon has just about everything without the bad vibes I experienced at Ulta. Honestly, my life has been better since I stopped shopping there and being profiled based skin tone. Numerous reviews point to bad management at this store—we can’t all be wrong. Ulta gets none of my money after that. There are too many other options to deal with bad management—Amazon, Ipsy, TikTok, Sephora, the mall… lol. There’s no reason to suffer; we’re already dealing with enough in this world. Staff and management at this store automatically assumed I was shoplifting, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. There was no greeting, no goodbye, and no smile—just a firm, uninviting expression from an older male who appeared to be part of management. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning. The store manager called me today to ask what happened, but instead of acknowledging the issue, he stated that this was not the staff’s intent. Rather than addressing the actual problem, the response felt dismissive and like an attempt to gaslight the situation.

go here if you don’t need help finding your foundation or concealer shade. it’s just that it’s their main job at their station and they can’t even do it right. smh. mind you this is my first time writing a bad review. you’re supposed to try to make other girls feel confident. i get that you’re not getting paid enough to care but jeez.

I had a very uncomfortable interaction with Michelle during my visit. When I walked in, I let her know I’m just getting back into wearing makeup and wanted help finding a good foundation. She told me the drugstore foundations were in the back and that what I was looking at was "the luxury foundation." I clarified that the product in front of us was exactly what I was interested in. She then asked if I was sure or if I was "just going to buy it today, wear it, and return it tomorrow." At that point, it was clear she had already made assumptions about me, and the comment was extremely unprofessional. I told Michelle I would just get someone else to help me, and she responded by saying she was the only person in that area who could assist. As I was leaving the store, I saw Trinity and asked if she could color match me. She was polite, pleasant, and able to color match me within minutes. She provided exactly the level of customer service I had expected from the start. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with Michelle, I will be giving this experience one star.

My experience today at this store was outstanding! I just had a major surgery 4 weeks ago and just happened to go in (it was my first outing after my spinal fusion). Every person from the door greeter to the check out counter went above and beyond. There was a rep for Burberry and Gucci parfum that was an absolute delight to talk to and on my way up front I thought about getting some new foundation, since my complexion was so reddened in some places and sallow in others. Emma stepped right in and picked the PERFECT foundation on her very first try!!! That's never happened at a cosmetic store before! I made sure to call Amanda, the store manager, and let her know that because of them I felt pretty in the first time in months! Everyone is eager to share and post negative things, but I had the BEST day because of your associates. Thank you so very much!!!

Very rude staff. The younger women who cashier are wonderful and helpful. There’s an older black lady and an older white man here who need lessons in hospitality and customer service. I live across the street and visit this Ulta at least once a week, the two people in question, on multiple occasions have made me feel like I’m being forced out of the store or like I’m doing something bad or harmful. It feels like I’m being profiled??? And it turns what should be a relaxing, fun experience into a highly stressful one. I left with my heart racing and very high levels of anxiety. I didn’t even get to buy all the products I wanted before I was customer serviced to death. One of the older female staff members in question also spoke to me as if I knew nothing about makeup when I have been a licensed cosmetologist and professional MUA since 2018. Sucks going to this store but I don’t have any other options as I live across the street.
