Shin Shin Department Store

It can be described as a department store where you can purchase everything from small items to Korean electronic appliances—a treasure trove with almost nothing missing. I think many Korean products are slightly improved and redesigned to be more practical. For example, among the many items, I bought kitchen rubber gloves with a cotton coating inside, which greatly enhances the grip—something you can’t find in American grocery stores. Additionally, I purchased various small items and Korean kitchen utensils. Before leaving, I plan to visit this place once more to stock up on everything I need.

I only go here a few times a year, but it's always a fun place to shop. It can be anxiety inducing because it's so big and there are so many products to browse, but if you have the time, I highly recommend visiting. The prices are great, too. I think it's much more affordable than regular department stores, at least for most items.

First timer! I loved the huge selection of items. I’ve read other reviews that complained about the constant following by employees. Frankly, it was to my benefit because I had many questions and someone was there to help me. The employees are everywhere on the floor. *Their presence never made me feel uncomfortable* I will return!

This store has great customer service! The employees are really friendly and extremely kind. You can just tell by their smiles and attitude. It was a really pleasant experience.

Brought teenager here that is interested in everything Asian. Found a few things for our house, and a few more that we would like to purchase in the future. The prices are very reasonable. Even thought the parking lot was full the store did not seem too busy even on Christmas Eve.

They always have what we need and it’s better to get it in store then to order it online. The problem is every time I come in here and I always pay for my stuff. I get followed around the store. There was a man who asked me if we were finding everything OK I said yeah he left us alone but each time I and specifically followed around the store. It’s the same lady who does it every time my wife and I went in there together and the minute we separated for me to go grab something is when she pops up she paid no mind to my wife who is Latina. The lady wasn’t with or helping other guests and there wasn’t very many in there at the time but each time she sees me in there, she makes a B line to be in the same aisle as me and she doesn’t hide it. I am a black 411 woman with a postop boot on because I injured my foot and I couldn’t run even if I wanted to and she never offers any help or assistance. She just enters the same aisle as me will look at me when she thinks I’m not watching her and then the moment I look in her direction she’ll look away briefly I typically try to only go to H Mart, but we needed a new hot pot, which was the reason for this visit and h mart didn’t have one so we cut the visit short. I ended up getting the hot pot. We went up and paid the ladies at the cash register were nice enough.
