What?! You don’t use Amanda Moncur Salon????!!! You should. We love the place. And not just because they trained our DIL to be a stylist, though it helps. AMS is the best you will ever find. Nice place. Professional service. Well worth the price. So, what are you waiting for. Make an appointment. Tell them Scott sent you and you will still get their best service. I swear. My wife gets her hair styled and colored here and it always looks great. Don’t get me started about their extensions. Check out the options in the pictures. Tons of options. Did you hear they stock Paul Mitchell products?? Only the best. Come in, get prettified. You won’t regret it. Love you, Amanda! Oh yeah, bring your beau too. My son comes here and loves it. Just ask him when you see him!

I've been coming to this salon for several months now and I can't picture going anywhere else for getting my hair taken care of. It's turned into a way to treat myself every couple of months. The first time I came was because I saw a promotion on my Instagram feed. It was such a wonderful experience that I booked another appointment for the next week to get some color work done. I have a darker shade of hair and Holland did an amazing job of really getting the vivid colors I wanted to look amazing. It turned out even better than I imagined. I come every couple of months now and each time is wonderful. I get moisturizing treatments, scalp treatments, and haircuts. I'm always treated so wonderfully and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Holland is the stylist I see, but I have interacted with several of the other stylists. They are all friendly and professional at the same time. One of my favorite things about the salon is that they have a separate room that is their wash house. It's quiet and so relaxing getting my hair washed and having treatments done. I also love how knowledgeable the stylists are. My hair has never been as healthy and fabulous looking and feeling. If you're looking for a great salon and want to really treat yourself right, definitely come here!

I just left the salon with the WORST customer service I've ever witnessed. I have never felt so disposable and unimportant in my life. I just moved here and saw the $89 haircut and wash special so thought I would try it and find a new stylist since I dont have one. Ellie was AMAZING she was attentive and I got an amazing cut she deserves 5 🌟 but right when she was getting g ready to style my hair two people walked over one im assuming was Amanda (I wouldn't know she didn't introduce herself) and basically told my stylist that they were taking over mid conversation (we were in the middle of a conversation about highlights for next time and she was going to check prices for me) and just basically didn't even let her say a word to me because her next client just showed up. They told me she would be back and she went to the back and I never saw her again she didn't get to check the cut or anything just gone abruptly it was sooo rude! So I won't be returning but would like Ellie to know if she ever decides to leave your company I would love for her to do my hair again she was amazing! #update they have reached out and have tried to make it right. Im considering giving them another chance! I will update my review if I decide to do that with my next experience.

Amanda Moncur Salon is a fantastic salon. They specialize in hair extensions. I have been a client for about a year. I found this salon through Goggle reviews and this salon does not disappoint. My hair goddess is Savannah. I met with her and she walked me through what would be the best extensions for my hair. I wore my Bellami extensions for about 9 1/2 months. This past year, Amanda designed and created her own extension line. And let me say these extensions are fabulous. The weft sew line is very minimal and lays much flatter to the scalp than the Bellami extensions. There is no extra hair below the sew line behind the actual hair. This is a big improvement and much more comfortable. The hair is very silky and I am so happy with my new set. If you are looking for a top notch salon with full service then this is the salon to book with.

Ellie gave me exactly what I wanted! I came in with only an idea, and she blew my expectations out of the water. It was great to talk with her and to learn tips on how to style my hair with my new cut. Best experience I've had at a hair salon and I'll be coming back here to see Ellie in the future. On December of 2023 I went to Amanda to get my hair lightened and spent close to a grand because I believed I was in good hands. She had assured me she had experience with textured hair and even showed me pictures of women with curly hair who she had worked with in the past. Initially I loved how the color turned out but with every subsequent visit I began expressing concern with how much hair was falling out (I have bleached my hair before and never had a problem with breakage). Amanda recommended some hair products which I bought hoping it would limit the hair loss… it did not. More than half of my hair ended up breaking off and last week I decided to just chop it off and start over. If you have any kind of texture to your hair you should probably look elsewhere. I don’t think I will ever bleach my hair again after this experience unfortunately.

I have been seeing Amanda for over 3 years. I have had hair extensions the entire time. Amanda takes extremely careful care of my hair. Her team is also amazing, helpful And friendly. This is a high caliber salon that is worth every penny.
