After years of receiving bodywork and facials at Yōso Wellness, I finally had the opportunity to experience a facial with Jennalee — and it was nothing short of amazing. This wasn’t just a facial; it was a fully curated experience. From the moment I walked into the dim, warm, beautifully prepared room, I felt completely at ease. Jennalee created such a calming atmosphere and took special care to ensure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. The facial itself was incredible, but what truly set it apart was how she supported my whole body during the treatment. From soothing foot massage and gentle arm work to warming touches and thoughtful details woven throughout, it felt like she was caring for every part of me — not just my skin. I also really appreciated how knowledgeable she is about her products. She clearly understands how each one benefits the skin, and being able to learn from her while receiving treatment made the experience even more valuable. I would highly recommend Jennalee at Yōso Wellness. It was more than a facial — it was an immersive, luxurious spa experience wrapped into one beautiful session.

The Yoso staff was very welcoming and it's a lovely atmosphere. I had the most fabulous pedicure from Bianca. She steamed my feet and it was a luxury. I love Yoso Wellness and told Bianca that I'm her new client. I highly recommend Yoso if you want the best experience and really enjoy the special care they give you. ❤️

Atmosphere is 1000/10. Massage is 10/10, nails are 5/10. Jenny did my massage and it was so good. Dani gave me a Delux mani pedi regular polish and despite me really liking her as a person my nails were not up to my standards especially given how pricey the service was. Dani was lovely, attentive, and accommodating. My appointment got canceled and she made it her priority to fit me in before my trip despite her busy schedule. She was very meticulous and gentle and did a fabulous job cleaning up my toes. The nail polish job however especially on my nails was not great. To her credit I chose the worst color to work with (lightest color and thus very streaky) and the bottle was almost empty AND it’s an organic product which means it’s less durable then the toxic chemical nail polish typical salons use. Will be going back for toes but I think I will start doing my nails myself because I can’t bare to return to a regular salon where they use toxic products. Massage is definitely a 10/10 ! Great massage therapists!! My last visit was to get a pedicure and that was a FAIL ! Overpriced !! Not what I wanted or expected. Will definitely not return for a pedicure ever again.

I was so excited to experience a salon that not only used chemical free polish but used LED lighting for my gel pedicure. The only disappointment was to be on vacation just four days and lose the polish completely off of only one nail. I am not sure I want to go back and pay what I paid to have it not last the entire 10 day vacation.

I would like to write an update regarding the latest unexpected, interaction with Carrie at Yoso Wellness. She first of all made a point of getting a hold of me, even though I was not the easiest person to track down. When we did finally speak, she was extremely kind and understanding about the situation I had written about below. I explained to her that I no longer even had the candles, as I did not hear back before Christmas, so just decided to swallow the cost and give them as a gift. Her response to that surprised me...she still wanted to comp me in some way to help relieve any ill feelings that might exist. And I didn't mention the most important part of our conversation...due to my posting, they are now relooking at their return policies and procedures and will be sure to have a more clear statement so that this confusion does not happen to anyone else again! That is the most important thing that I was hoping to accomplish by my posting in the first place... The rest is an unexpected and really delightful way to put this situation to rest. And a great way to start a new positive relationship for 2024!! To that end, I would like to thank Carrie and her team at Yoso Wellness for their generosity and for truly caring about me as a person! I look forward to seeing you soon!! 💕 ------------------------------------------ I feel that I was conned into buying two candles from the store at Yolo, located on Front Street in Santa Cruz, this past Friday, December 15th. First of all they are not marked with prices. And when I found two that I thought my Mother-in-law would like, the salesgirl, Hannah, said "oh and those happen to be on sale!" Well, to my surprise they were $56.84 in sale!! And by that time she had already wrung me up and I felt an obligation to purchase them. Not once, mind you...did she ever tell me this was a final sale, or they could not be returned, or exchanged or anything of the like. Nor does it say anything to the extent on my receipt. However, when I finally get the balls to reenter the store and tell the same salesgirl, Hannah, that I had made a horrible mistake and cannot afford such a purchase on my extremely limited fixed income. She is understanding, and tries to help me. And leaves a message for her manager. When not able to get a hold of her manager, is just about to give me the refund... when all of a sudden her manager gets back to her and shuts her down immediately! Tells her that sale items are not refundable and that their policies are written on their website! Who in their right mind makes a purchase and then checks the website for the return policy? If it is not clearly stated in word or in writing on the receipt, I believe that my refund should have been honored. However, poor Hannah, would have probably lost job, should she have honored our refund because her manager(s) were too busy with outside, personal issues to handle the task at hand, and left her with an extremely irritated customer who is now writing this! On the management side, extremely POORLY handled and the WORST customer service I have ever ENCOUNTERED!!! I would NOT purchase anything from this establishment again as they are greedy, and do not care for their customers. I'm sure they can handle the return of two measly candles, but it was beyond them to take the time to deal with me. So thank you for allowing us to see how you really work with the public.

I was visiting from out of town and wanted a facial and massage. Beth did a wonderful job with my facial. She communicated very well and is a warm person. She even helped me find this great tinted sunscreen moisturizer I had been trying to find! Louisa gave me a great massage, and the way she worked on my neck and head restored a good bit of mobility. Thanks for very nice experience!
