Our first time to Salt. We did the 1 hour cave experience. We purchased our tickets from Groupon. There were a total of 11 of us in the cave. It was actually very relaxing. They play a recording with some soft music and a woman's soothing voice speaking. My husband even enjoyed the experience and felt relaxed.

This is a unique and affordable stop for an hour on a trip to Santa Barbara. You can enjoy a 45 minute session in a well designed salt cave to detox. The cave is tranquil and relaxing with meditation sounds and music. They do require reservations. This experience was very affordable. They also have a soundbath experience that is a bit more and on the higher end they offer massage. I found their shop filled with affordable items to buy. I went home with a bag filled for about 100.00. And I got about 20 different items! I highly recommend a stop in.

The salt cave room couples massage was INCREDIBLE! The therapist was Danny & my wife got Mia. We will definitely booking with them again. My wife said it was so relaxing that it was hard for her to stay awake. I would describe it as similar to "the rhythmic undulations of the crashing ocean waves that effortlessly transition from mild to perfect medium pressure." Wish they offered the Swedish/Deep Tissue Combo Massage in longer durations than just 60 minutes. The added bonus was because of the booked massages, the products (e.g. bath salts) were all 15% off! Great gift ideas for yourself, family and friends. And because our appointment was on Saturday morning, we were able to go to the Farmers’ Market a couple blocks away. Finally, street parking is definitely difficult. We decided to do the parking structure on Ortega. The first 75 min is free & $3/hr after plus they have EV car charging.

This is a magical place a must go in Santa Barbara. You enter down a flight of stairs to a marvelous enchanting healing environment. The cave is spectacular and the services are amazing. You must take home one of their many hands crafted lotions or scubs. I love the lip balm. This place is one stop shopping for Christmas as well . Bring the whole family and take on s breath of magical salt.

I want to preface that I did enjoy my time at this spa and overall it was a good experience. When I first walked in there seemed to be an argument ensuing between a man and woman, both of them welcomed me in so I assumed they both worked there despite the woman being the only one looking official. Once they were done, I awkwardly approached the woman about scheduling a massage, overall she was helpful. However, this was my first time getting a massage in this capacity and I asked if I needed to know anything before going in, she said no. I repeated, are you sure, there isn't anything I should be aware of, I have no idea what to even expect. She again said no and instead started pushing me to buy some lotion which felt rude. I left and came back for my massage later in the day (fantastic they could get me in same day). While waiting for my massage I was lead to a narrow hallway and told to wait there by the same woman as before. I asked if my belongings need to go in a locker or somewhere specific and she walked away from me. I saw another client relaxing in a nearby room and she informed me I could take off my shoes and even get water, due to the prior staff member's attitude I was uncertain if I was allowed in said waiting room as that was not where she left me. I hesitantly removed my shoes and waited in the salt room. My masseuse came and this is where come confusion occurred, when he left me to get undressed, I did not fully undress as I did not know the full capacity of the massage I paid for (hence me asking the associate what to expect), he had to explain to me that I had to remove all my clothes (or at least down to the underwear as the massage was full body), I then did as such and had a lovely massage. Once out I gathered my things and made sure to avoid the initial associate and I paid at a different desk with a very kind younger woman. I expressed that I enjoyed my massage but I was confused by the lack of information I was given, the young woman apologized for the to her associates lack of information. Overall I would go again but when someone says it is their first massage, you need to tell them what to expect even if you believe the information might be common knowledge, consent is huge and someone else could've felt very uncomfortable from her lack of information.

It's definitely a place to check out when you're in santa barbara. I had the pleasure of experiencing the quiet room and the couples' salt cave, and I ended it with the 45-minute meditation experience. They offered us 15% off retail, idk if it's because we booked a treatment/meditation experience. I'm glad i got to check that off the list!

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The guided meditation while relaxing in the salt cave was very pleasant. The sound and tones were soothing and the recliner was comfortable. I enjoyed the "tea room" as it was the perfect location to relax and unwind before and after my massage. Daniel was superb! He asked permission as he massaged my body. He used the appropriate amount of pressured (he increased when asked). The entire morning was rejuvenating. I will book again when I am in Santa Barbara.
