She was so calm and informative, I really enjoyed the waterfall headspa and all the beautiful flowers and formulas she made to heal my itchy scalp. 5 stars I would go back again and again. Great experience, loved the relaxing energy and treatment. Korean Hair spa was relaxing with Joanne, it is a must try with hot stones. She is very welcoming and professional. She gave me great tips to take care holistically. The space is aromatic and clean.

If you’re looking for a calming, feminine vibe and a truly pampering experience, this is the place to go. I booked the 90-minute scalp, facial, and back treatment (the pedal press) and it was amazing. I loved how she explained using simple, easy to understand language exactly what was being applied at every step. She also took the time to give me detailed, personalized recommendations that will really help improve my skincare routine. I will definitely be coming back again.

I love this idea, it’s so unique! I did a head spa session in Korea and loved it, and wanted to look for a place that does this more locally too. Not only was the service authentic (did a scalp analysis & targeted treatment), it was actually more comprehensive than what I had before! Giovanna did an amazing job explaining every single step and took a holistic approach, treating not only my scalp but also my hair and my neck muscles / lymph. Also her approach is her own spin which incorporates some Moroccan products/essence as well, which to me is the best of both worlds! By far one of the most surprisingly comprehensive spa sessions I’ve had. I’ll be back!

Please do not go here. I made the mistake of trusting that she wanted to spend extra time on my hair and kept saying she was "almost done"and "I'm not losing that much hair" while attempting to relax as she was talking through things about her life and I responded in turn, sharing stories in the spirit of encouragement. I have been blessed in life and have had some very interesting and difficult experiences navigating life and solo travel as a young woman. I will always share when someone asks with hope that they can experience anything and go anywhere too. My hair will grow back, $200 will come again, but the feeling of sadness being the brunt of jealousy and unprofessional behavior hurts my heart. I am sorry I did not stand up for myself and walk out. For reference regarding treatment - I have very nice and thick hair and no issues, just came in tangled and wanted the scalp and facial experience. AFTER treatment she pointed out that I had hair missing from my follicles and needed rosemary oil when there were no empty follicles so obvious before. My partner noticed immediately how much thinner my hair was when I got home. I had resisted an intuitive urge to take the massive clump of hair from the room before I left as she mentioned her family in Mexico practices Santeria and she is spiritual, in addition to being a Muslim convert. I have had great experiences before with Arabic culture and men, I have been to a male-dominated Iraqi salon and been treated with the utmost care and respect, not so here. I assume the best in everyone regardless of culture, and I believe what people tell me. This has been a hard lesson in how women treat each other. Or I misinterpreted everything and all was due to an extreme lack of skill. I hope you find happiness Giovanna, but this was not okay.

I visited Giovanna at Rose Spa for my very first scalp spa experience, and let me just say… OMG. I am officially a returning customer! I’ve never had anything like this Korean/Moroccan hair treatment before, and it was exactly what I desperately needed. My hair has been thinning, my scalp had buildup, and it was constantly itchy — it honestly made me really sad and discouraged. But Giovanna completely turned my life around. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and so thoughtful with every step of the treatment. I could feel the difference immediately. My scalp feels clean, refreshed, and soothed, and my hair already looks and feels healthier. I can’t thank her enough for this experience. As soon as you walk in it feels very welcoming and relaxing. It was my first time doing a head spa and it was amazing! Giovanna explained the whole process and it's super cool to see the before and after of the scalp analysis. She's very sweet and very gentle while doing your head spa honestly it felt like it was 20 minutes instead of 60 it was super relaxing! Afterwards my hair felt super soft and looked extra shiny I love it!
