Anna was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, she kindly offered me water and gave my son a small bag of candy, which made him so happy. She was very friendly, patient, and professional throughout the haircut. Her work was excellent and the haircut turned out perfect. We are very happy with the service and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We loved this place!! My husband happened to pass by because its main road and got an excellent cut! We loved how precise she was, and generally so sweet and friendly. She even gave him a little baggy with Vietnamese treats. The place is a bit of your standard cozy barbershop. The cut was about $44! Highly recommend!

A small shop with a big heart and excellent customer care. At the start of my cut Anh asked if I had reference photos of how I liked my hair. She was able to deliver my desired fade and constantly checked in throughout the cut to see if I was satisfied with the process. I was also given a touch up eyebrow trim! She was kind enough to take photos afterwards as well for future reference

I found Anna Kimchi Beauty Salon by a happy coincidence. The decision to try her Salon was based of reviews on Yelp. Reviews for Anna were all 4 or 5 stars. Customers liked Anna's attention to detail and her personal touch. By happy coincidence I realized this was not the first time in her care. Years ago I had gone to another Redwood City salon and Anna was cutting my hair there. It was at least a decade ago and she is even better now. Today, Anna is in her own place. This is her 7th year at this location on El Camino. Her shop is next to an Italian Cannoli/Biscotti Bakery near the edge with Atherton. She has been at this location for 7 years and has over 20 years experience. Go get a Biscotti next door when you are done! Anna's salon has a very homey vibe. Everything is very relaxed. She mainly works by appointment these days. There is only one customer at a time - You. That is what I was looking for: A solo proprietor. Mainly because of Covid fear. My hair had grown uncut for 3 plus years. It looked like aging hippie hair and pretty bad. See the before and after and judge for yourself. I plan to go back again and again. I’ve been going to Anna for the past 3 years. She is the only person I let cut hair since she is so meticulous about her haircuts and genuinely does her best to make it look like what you want. I’ve gotten a generic cut, fade, mullet and other various cuts. She takes care of all of her customers, providing them with water and snacks every time.
