Ulta Beauty is hands-down my favorite place to shop for beauty. The store is always clean, well organized, and stocked with everything from high-end brands to affordable staples. The staff is consistently friendly and genuinely helpful without being pushy—they actually listen and give great recommendations. I love the rewards program and how often there are deals and bonus points; it really makes you feel appreciated as a customer. Whether I’m restocking essentials or treating myself to something new, Ulta never disappoints. I always leave happy (and usually with more than I planned 😅). Highly recommend!

I usually love shopping at Ulta and appreciate the wide selection and rewards program, but my most recent experience was a bit underwhelming. Some items I wanted were out of stock, and checkout felt more rushed than usual. Nothing terrible, just not the smooth experience I’m used to. I’ll still continue shopping here and hope my next visit is better, because Ulta is normally one of my go-to beauty stores.

I normally love shopping at Ulta, which is why this experience was so disappointing. The store was well stocked, but I had a hard time getting help—associates seemed rushed, and no one followed up after I asked for assistance. When I got home, I realized one of the products I was recommended wasn’t a good match at all, which felt frustrating given the price. I expect better guidance and customer care from a beauty retailer I usually trust. I’m hoping this was just an off day, but it definitely made me hesitate to come back right away.

Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience at Ulta I’ve been a loyal Ulta customer for years, spending thousands of dollars both in-store and online. However, my experience today was beyond disappointing—it was outright discriminatory. I typically order online, but I stopped in to browse. As I was leaving, I noticed a well-advertised Clinique campaign for Black Cherry lipstick, which caught my eye. I went back in and spoke with the Clinique representative, Cindy, about the product. She explained the different variations and I decided to purchase the Black Cherry lip balm. That’s when things took a disturbing turn. Cindy told me that because two women had previously stolen Clinique products, she had to retrieve my item from the back rather than allowing me to take one from the display. She instructed me to wait in line while she got it. However, when she returned, I saw that the product had been in the front of the store all along, displayed in a bin with several others. When I questioned her about it, she signaled for me to stay quiet and said, "Oh, don’t say anything." After reflecting on the situation, I called back and spoke with Sarah, the merchandising manager, to express my concerns. I made it clear that I don’t automatically assume racism—but in this case, it was clear. I was a Black woman, casually dressed after the gym, and I was treated differently because of it. I provided photo and video proof that the Clinique products were readily available in the front of the store, and yet I was made to wait unnecessarily while being misled. To make matters worse, when I returned to address the issue, another manager, Colleen, was extremely rude and condescending, speaking to me as if I were a child rather than a valued customer. Plus all the black cherry lip balm had been removed from the bin as you can see in the picture that I’ve added This experience was unacceptable. I have since returned all the items I purchased, and I expect this situation to be addressed. I support local stores, but I will not support businesses that treat customers with racial bias.

I’ve been going to Crystal Stokes at Ulta Tradition in Port St Lucie, FL for years now. She is great with my color and knows how to cut my curly hair. She’s is the longest I’ve stayed with any stylist. Would highly recommend her!

I love Ulta. I've been going to the one in The Landings at Tradition and I've been going to the Salon for years. The stylists are top top super stars...really are experienced and talented. The store is always clean, well designed and stocked well. All.. I mean all the staff are so really nice and helpful. Each person is perfectly placed in their ideal position. So much stuff...fun...captivating...beautiful...so much to look at. Everything under the sun from lipstick to perfume to hair products to cosmetics to nail polish to hair products to every line under the sun...for everything you imagine..and dream of! What a fun place. The store manager is a really nice young lady and runs the store perfectly. The check our ladies...awesome. I can't say enough about everyone other than..you gotta go and see! You'll fall in love with Ulta. I recommend this store. Highly. Happy shopping!!

Great place to shop. Trying to find WOW products. Employee very helpful, located a few. She said she can order what we were looking for. Decided to try one of the products for hair volume. This store has a lot of different lines to choose from.
