I purchased a blow dryer from this place almost a month ago paid $40 for it and only used it once before it went completely out TODAY! I called to see if he could exchange it and he said I couldn’t exchange past 7 days. What? I was sold a faulty product from that store and as a frequent customer the owner could have at least replaced it. He said I’d have to go through the manufacturer. Literally ridiculous and inconvenient. One customer lost for sure.
Bonnie dose a beautiful hair style on me love it just started 2 months ago!
Bonnie is a fantastic salon owner and hairdresser. I have been going to her for over 26 years. Her prices are generous for the amount of service she provides. She uses top quality products on your hair. I will continue to use her as my hairdresser as long as she is in business.
I’ve been shopping at Towngate Beauty Supply for almost 25 years to purchase Sabastian Hair Spray. Several months ago, the nozzle on the can became clogged and while I took it off and rinsed under hot water, to no avail, I couldn’t get it to spray. It was 3/4 full. So since it was new, I returned it expecting to receive a brand new can. The owner took a nozzle from a can on the shelf and replaced it. A week later, the spray wouldn’t work. I again returned product and again, the owner refused to give me a new can and replaced the nozzle from another can. Within a week, this happened again, and again I returned the can. The owner flat out REFUSED to stand by this devoted customer of 25 years. I will contact the Sabastian manufacturer and formerly complain about this owner. Zero customer friendly!
MY FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE! I was a first time customer here and attempted to purchase hair dye. When I tried to pay they wouldn't accept my card...which was on Samsung pay (like apple pay but better) even though they accept Visa and have the capability of accepting Samsung or Apple pay. The cashier said she knows the system accepts it but they (the employees) don't let people use it. The owner was standing by the door like some sort of bodyguard so I asked him about it lol and he said they don't take it. That is a violation of their contract with Visa and I will be reporting them. Just because you're not "comfortable" with technology doesn't mean you should act like a paying customer is doing something wrong or illegal. I could've went back to my car to get cash or my actually atm card but I left on principle and went to Sally's where they proudly accept any legal form of payment and the dye was actually cheaper there.
For those unable to go into the store, for example...DISABLED! Don’t send anyone here to help you find anything. You will be constantly followed and basically forced from the store for FaceTiming. There is a difference between "recording products " and a video call. Everyone isn’t into corporate espionage
I walk into this establishment today to inquire about working with a local beauty supply company for a new salon my wife and I are opening. Now mind you, I have been in customer service and management for 15 plus years. I've ran dealerships, been a Finance Director, Regional VP of multiple companies to explain the least. With this said, I have never been treated like I was when I entered this establishment. I walked in and the front girl greeted me kindly with a hello and I responded accordingly with a "Hello, great thanks". She was busy with a customer at the time.. As i proceeded to look around a guy from the back seen me and quickly jumped up and walked over as if i had dropped something and said "What do you need?(I believe to be the owner)". I explained "Hello, My wife and I are opening a salon and would like to find a local supplier for our business, do you work with businesses in wholesale or discounted rates?" He responds by saying "what do you need". I explain a variation of items on my list as it is much to explain upfront(thousands worth was needed). He just stares at me. I asked "So is this something you can help us out with?" He ignores me and walks away.....So I figure maybe there is a miscommunication between us as I believe he is Korean as well as the girl in the front(my wife is also but I don't speak it i can recognize the dialog most times). I continue to browse around and he follows me aisle to aisle as if I was thinking of stealing!! As I'm looking, i hear him say something to the girl at the register. So I think ok maybe I can speak with her if there was a miscommunication between him and I. So I explain that I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication but this is what I'm looking for". Her demeanor completely switched from helpful to "i don't know, he handles everything". As she says this he positions himself next to the register and stands gaurd like he is security or something. So now im feeling very profiled(37 year old Mexican clean cut in new Suavecito Hat, shorts, shirt and carrying a tablet) I ask if he handles the accounts then he does do them right? She repeats herself as she glanes at him. I gave up and said thank you have a nice day and walked out feeling like I'm getting no where. I'm a local also so I drive home and feeling very disturbed about how I was treated on my visit I called the location to ask why he treated me like that. Seems he responds better to English questions on the phone because he screamed at me again responding correctly yet with accent saying why am I calling and it is his job to follow me like that. I explained I am calling to give him a chance to explain why I was treated in this manner when all I wanted to do was setup an account for residual purchases. He did not care and continued to scream at me and hung up after I stated "well if you don't care about treating your customers with respect and fairly then maybe the BBB will. We need to remove these types of business owners in Moreno Valley asap. They are bad for business and the Moreno Valley experience us real business owners are trying to create. My wife and I aren't only opening a salon but we also own another type of business here in Moval. THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
