The Fresh Market

If you’re shopping in the Midtown Memphis area and you’re looking for a clean, pleasant store with specialty items, fresh baked goods, and high-quality meat/seafood, this Fresh Market location is a solid choice. The ambiance and service seem to hit above the typical grocery experience. However, if you’re primarily motivated by lowest price, or you need a very broad selection of specialty diet items / value-groceries, then you may want to pair this with another store that focuses more on cost-efficiency or variety in niche items.

It's my favorite store. Period. You guys always be stocked with interesting things and the kindest people work there. Can't say enough about the welcoming feeling I'm sure everyone gets from W***e. I miss my A***ly that chatted with me everytime I walked by the deli. Security is so nice to bring the carts they see back into the entrance way. Thankyou for being so great to shop at the past 2 years.

Whole foods is a bit far, so I have started visiting this grocery store. Upscale, hip grocery store, an expensive too. I love the quality of fresh produce. I stop by to buy meat or fresh seafood. The bakery section is mind blowing, so as the cheese and wine. I love roaming around the spices aisle. They have so much different options in gourmet spices from around the world. The deli and the meal section is good as well. They have many varieties of meal. I stop by to grab some dinner or salad for next day lunch. Check out their apps for sale. I am in love with this grocery store.

Very friendly staff and the store is very neat and clean. I stopped to see if they carried a specific baking powder. An employee and I looked but couldn’t find any baking powder on shelves. Not sure if they carried any or was just out. I highly recommend visiting this location!

I really love the fresh market items, and the turkey 🥓 at the meat counter is the best. I love the various breads and scones they have. I just wish they were not so expensive. I will be returning,also the workers are very friendly and helpful.

Fresh Market is expensive. You can get anything cheaper at Kroger down the street off of Union. Overall great spot for some healthy food. They have a lot of cheeses and the bakery is cool. The staff is nice enough. They have a security guard who keeps an eye around the parking lot.

There is never anything bad to say about The Fresh Market. This is my first visit to the location in Midtown and it was great. They had a very large selection of prepared food items, which doesn’t always happen at the other locations late in the day. The only negative that I saw which I’m not going to doc them for is an employee who ignored my presence at the bakery counter. She saw me, but after two minutes I had to call her over to me. I love you fresh market, thanks for helping me to always eat healthy
