I was so excited to walk into this Japanese store but I was disappointed when I saw the lack of products on the shelves. The customer service was non-existent, seemed like the workers tried avoiding any eye contact just in case we had an questions. LOL The prices are absolutely crazy must be due to the imports. No snacks, nothing fun here. I would pass…

Spent around $400 with my daughter, which she bought a bunch of cute items and I bought face products. Used my husbands American Express Card and they immediately asked to see my ID. Had to use my with card, but that was totally unexpected. I thought very rude because there was no indication of any store policy. And yes I am brown.

Pricey and limited. Another tourist trap in Ktown LA. There’s plenty more stores like this that offer better products. Of course, if you’re an Anime fan, this place will make you feel at home and pay around $10 for a food item you can buy for much less.

This is a great store the selection of shampoo could be better but still a great store I hope it stays open for ever ☺️😍

Standard asian cosmetics/skincare shop with a pretty good selection. I appreciated the variety of sunscreen offered and there are actually a few decent deals in comparison to Stylevana/Yesstyle if you know where to look.

Shopping at Shibuyala was something I was actually looking forward to—their selection of Korean beauty and proxy-purchased products seemed great. But as it turns out, the real test of a business isn’t when things go right, it’s how they handle things when they don’t. My package got lost in transit. While the shipping carrier offered a token reimbursement (thanks to them for at least acknowledging it), Shibuyala took no responsibility whatsoever for the remaining loss. No refund, no replacement, not even an apology. It seems that once your order leaves their hands, you’re on your own. The philosophy might be something like: "Well, we shipped it. The rest is your problem." If you plan to order from them, I’d suggest hoping your package arrives safely—because if it doesn’t, you may just end up paying for an experience rather than a product. Hopefully, my experience helps someone else make a more informed decision.

Amazing array of top Japanese cosmetics & skincare products- I felt like I was in Tokyo! Prices were very reasonable, definitely higher than Japan but fair considering the convenience.
