SEPHORA at Kohl's

Sales associate Mira was unprofessional and dismissive. I asked about a Kiehl’s product showing 5 units available for same-day in-store pickup. She said it was in the back but then claimed backstock could not be sold, offering no explanation beyond "my manager said so," and walked away. Kohl’s manager Connie was unable to clarify the pickup process and made comments that made me feel as though I was creating a problem simply by asking. After Mira contacted the Sephora manager, she avoided updating me and gave me an openly hostile look. The Sephora manager ultimately confirmed that if the item scanned, it could be sold, making the earlier behavior unnecessary. I was asking a reasonable question and was treated as though I were difficult or aggressive, which was not the case. I completely understand how day to day operations work in this industry I worked operations and brand management for years within Ulta. If she was informative at all when I asked about online order and pickup or why she couldn’t sell me the item from the back then matter solved. The issue wasn’t policy — it was communication and professionalism.

I went to the Sephora in the Fargo Kohls on Friday December 19 to purchase some Lady Dior fragrance as a Christmas gift. A young lady named Hailey assisted me and discovered that the store did not have the desired fragrance in stock. Hailey continued to help me with my quest, using her personal phone to search for and locate some Lady Dior at a different Sephora location which she then graciously provided me with directions to. Very impressive service!

Weslinn went above and beyond around 5p on 8/29. She explained all the products to me and found me stuff that would work for my skin. She asked me questions about my skin and life style to find the best fit. She is definitely an asset to Sephora and to whoever anyone who hires her in the future ❤️ thanks so much for your help today. I did get what I needed 💕

Honestly one of the best Sephora experiences I have ever had and I’ve been to multiple locations in my life! I’ve never felt so taken care of…let me tell you, there is a young girl working here, I so wished I remembered her name because I even asked (I believe it started with an H or a W) She is an absolute gem!!! For only being in high school (I’m assuming) she is more brilliant at her job than most adults I know. This was at around 7:30pm on 3/21/25 if you’re able to look up the employees, she deserves the biggest raise. She is a doll! I walked into the SEPHORA in Kohls and honestly had no idea what brand or colors I needed as it had been awhile since I’ve worn a full face of makeup, she was so nice and happy to help. She matched my skin tone to an EXACT match and showed me a few different options. I’ve never had someone take the time to match my coloring SO perfectly and then offered me samples to bring home. I had a billion questions as I needed a few things and she answered so happily and even walked me around the store to show me different options for multiple things and explained all of it. She was SO sweet and made me feel so comfortable and that none of my questions were dumb. I will only go here for makeup from now on because I truly felt cared for. Thank you again!!!! 🙂

Small but nice store. Staff was impatient, I had to approach the staff, they never came up to me. I was looking to buy things.
