Been here thousands of times in the last 10 years or so. I purchased a hat with micky mouse balls. After 2 days one ball fall off. In less than a week I finally made it back this way to exchange only, and was told the couldn't find my transaction. I went to my phone and found the transaction. Then was told because the transaction didn't have an address ( but the name) they couldn't exchange it. I ask for a Mgr, and she stated that they do exchange on wearable items. Therefore all that other hoopla was for nothing. Bad business, and will definitely not spend another dime, and you shouldn't either. They don't even live in our community, but we give them all our money.

I make it a point to support local neighborhood businesses, but this place made it impossible to continue doing so. The staff treated me like a potential thief rather than a paying customer, which was insulting and completely unacceptable. With beauty supply stores on nearly every corner, there’s no excuse for this kind of disrespect. I won’t be back — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects to be treated with basic decency.

Lees beauty supply on Jefferson profiled me and as a black women that spends at least $300 a month with them I felt very disrespected. They tried to gaslight me and say I was rude but pay attention as a black women they will watch you and follow you in the store. I felt so uncomfortable. Do NOT spend money with them they only hire black workers because they know they have a bad rep but I definitely understand what they’re saying and how they feel about black peoples. They’re RACIST and that’s why I threw my things on the counter and left, please support your black beauty supplies so we don’t have to deal when this any longer. I will be suing them for discrimination!

I love going to leave to get things for my hair. Also they sell clothes shoes summer shoes. Also beautiful purses as well. Hair is human good prices because I have went to other beauty salon stores. I have compare prices. This is the one I like. I've been doing it for years. The prices are very reasonable for human hair.

Convenient location, I purchased hair nets, braiding hair, developer. Some employees are knowledgeable and all enjoyable.

I have shopped here many times over many years. However I find the current staff working there now to be uninformed about what products they carry, disengaged from the clientel they serve,( who obviously keep their doors open), and willing to assume a black face returning a product with a receipt, within the required time frame, is synonymous with a con game. They need to be trained in customer service.
