99 Ranch Market

Bought 2 lb mussels. Came home and immediately started to cook. 2/3 were dead even before I bought it

Pretty much all the Chinese food stuff that you'll ever need. It is extremely crowded with stuff, every aisle and shelf. Staff is hard to find. Please wear something warm, it is always cold inside including summer. They give coupons over certain amount of spend, you can use it to buy cooked food at their deli.

What a great store! Lots of live seafood, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, wide selection of meats, canned goods, dry noodles, and a variety of Taiwanese snacks. Large parking lot makes it easy to find parking, and fast and efficient check-out service. One of the better 99 Ranch stores!!

This is our second most frequented Chinese grocery store. Price may not be the best in this area but there's a good variety of stuff. It has a deli but after the pandemic it is takeout only, no more dine-in. Plenty of parking in front, and a two-level garage at the back of the mall. Now that the Mid-Autumn Festival is getting near, they have a very wide selection of moon cakes.

Prices are getting ridiculously high these days, but their Deli department where you can pay with grocery coupons are pretty good, especially the BBQ ducks & soy chickens. A bunch of green onion is now nearly $2❗❗❗🙄🙄🙄🙄 They do have a good selection of Asian fresh produce from A-Tsoi (A菜）, Bok Choy, and Chinese Gailan (芥蘭）, sometimes if you're patient & opportunistic, you can get them on huge sales, Gailan a few weeks ago was on sales for $1.49/lb, instead of regularly $2.99/lb or more. Also got nice selection of seafoods I'm the back of the store, but again, wait t them in sales, else they can really be pricey. The bakery stuff is just Meh Meh🙄🙄🙄 Not their strong suit, go to other Chinese or Asian bakeries, you get better stuff. It's sad that this used to be my go-to Asian grocery store, due to the constantly insane rising prices, I have discovered that Hankook Market (not far from Ranch 99, about ~1 mile down Wolfe & then El Camino), their prices are so much better & also have more weekly discount items. For example, Ranch 99 tofus we're in sales for $1.58 a 14-oz pack, similar tofus are available at Hancock no more than $1.29 EVERYDAY! (See photo taken at Hankook Market yesterday)

99 ranch is the top dog asian supermarket! first, they're always clean (a couple of staff was mopping through each aisle the whole time i was there), they got the best snacks and drinks, and their bakery got the best pastries and bread and sweets! this location had a lot of employees that didn't really speak english though, so it was a little hard looking for help to find some stuff that we were looking for

Old run down store. Guy at the bbq roast meat deli stand is just not very pleasant. Doesn’t ask or acknowledge you when you order. No hair nets. The worst part is that he uses a different plastic container that contains existing bbq juices, to weigh my bbq roast pork. So it’s just random weight of solidified honey sauce that I’m paying for. Then the veggies at this store are all yellow. Can’t wait until T&T Asian supermarket opens in San Jose later this year. The best Asian supermarket from Canada!
