I recently brought my daughter here to get her hair and makeup done for her sweet sixteen party. We were greeted by Crystal, one of the stylists there. She was AMAZING. She was kind and attentive. Asked my daughter exactly what she envisioned her sweet sixteen look to be and made it a reality. She was very professional and meticulous. She made Sure that my daughter got exactly what she wanted for her big day. I can’t recommend her enough! The hair and makeup done by her is exceptional! If you’re looking for a true professional, who listens and cares and has pride in her work… Definitely ask for Crystal next time you go! With the penny shortage, I understand the change situation being difficult for businesses, however, I have never been told that I was supposed to be shorted change right to my face when there was nickels in the drawer. I'm not sure if this is the store policy to short people their change and not to round up in our favor, but it seems like a really stingy and off-putting practice for a store that's supposed to be rather well put together and high end. I didn't raise any trouble about it because it was just $0.03 and everyone else in the store was helpful but it really put a terrible taste in my mouth. Definitely going to stick with Sephora.

I booked a makeup application at Ulta online and explained clearly that I wanted an everyday, natural look, something subtle, not overly feminine, and close to a "no-makeup" looking style. My main priority was covering dark spots while still looking like myself. Unfortunately, the experience fell short almost immediately. The foundation applied was too light for my skin tone, and I pointed this out right away. Instead of removing it and selecting a better match, Crystal, the technician chose not to take the time to correct it. Because foundation is the base of the entire look, everything that followed, concealer, bronzer, lips were all affected. The foundation and concealer completely altered my skin tone and made me look much lighter than I actually am. Basically, "white face". She attempted to "fix" the issue by adding bronzer, but that didn’t resolve the underlying problem. I worked with her as best I could on the lip color and brows, but by that point the overall look just wasn’t working. What bothered me most was that I didn’t feel listened to. Crystal, the technician and another staff member made comments suggesting that maybe I "wasn’t used to makeup" or wasn’t "ready" for it. This felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially considering I do have experience wearing makeup and know how it’s supposed to look and feel. I’m 27 years old and didn't appreciate being spoken to that way. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this service or return for another makeup application. The foundation mismatch was never properly addressed, and the comments made during the appointment were unprofessional and the makeup messed up my shirt and jacket. Whatever spray Crystal used to seal, did not work properly. I'll add a pics of the makeup bag no makeup.

Kassie was so helpful during my visit! They helped me apply my rewards, pick out the birthday gift and introduced me to the Kopari fragrance line. You were right, I do love all of them! Thanks so much for the help 🤩

I was assisted by Crystal recently for a foundation match. My skin is very dry and she heard me out and understood my needs and concerns. Crystal was so kind and treated me with respect.

literally in LOVE with my brows after visiting the benefit brow bar today. the brow specialist, maura, was super friendly, professional, and took the time to listen to what i was looking for. i went for a wax and tint today, and the color match was perfect. def coming back and recommending to all my friends!💖💖
