The Gangnam Hair Salon

This is absolutely bad place to get a hair cut. You would want your stylist to understand and then cut as per the request. Not only the person is unable to understand English clearly and has to use an app to communicate which makes it very difficult to talk. She is also very rude and does not know anything about hair cut. Cutting hair without wetting, cutting them uneven. When asked to fix it she became agitated and animated and started throwing fits about next appointment. I wish she should have clearly mentioned that she cannot communicate properly and the appropriate appointment would not have been made and time wasted. Terrible experience and rude person who cannot communicate properly. Very bad manners and communication and very poor salon skills.

I absolutely love Gangnam Salon! The staff is always so kind and pays great attention to detail. They are especially amazing at hair coloring and perms. Every time I visit, I’m happy and satisfied with the results. Highly recommend!

I have found my Korean hair stylist! Having lived in Japan and Korea for many years I missed getting a REAL haircut with clean lines and fades, Asian style. She is very meticulous and takes pride in her work. Highly recommended!

$35 for men's hair, $30 for kids. She is very attentive to your requests. Consultation before getting a cut to make sure you get the style you want and she also gives suggestions on what style may work for you. Service is great! I am very picky about who cuts my hair and not many salons or barber shops in Memphis that can cut Asian hair. I'm glad I've found this place because she knows exactly the style I am looking for!

She can serve both Asian & non-Asian customers. Nice haircut & styling. The quality of the service is good. Better than other places which whoop your butt out the door without shampooing your hair.
