God forbid a girl want to browse at this location. Let alone bare faced and dressed down. They definitely profile by appearance. Upon entering a foot inside your immediately "greeted" by a cluster of mean girls looking you up and down in all black, "what were you here for?". And followed by them to the product and all around the store until you check out. I’ve come dressed full face of makeup and in business casual attire and was treated entirely different. I’ve seen the staff treat others like this but this is the first time I’ve gotten it first hand and it’s really awful. I love this store. It close to home and all my favorite makeup brands are here like Tarte, Lancôme, Two Faced and more. But this experience has taught me that I can never come here in a hurry unless I want to be treated like a criminal. Honestly there has to be another discreet way to do loss prevention. Yikes.

I came in around 3:45pm on Sunday, February 1st to do some exchanges of things that were very outside of my correct color palette. I told Alley (spelling unsure, as she wasn’t wearing a proper name tag with her uniform and she had only verbally told me her name), that I wanted to make exchanges because I had made the purchases on my Ulta credit card and didn’t want to run into any issues with walking out with my desired items. She asked me if I wanted to just do a return because it’s easier, and I had explicitly asked her "it won’t be a problem to purchase things I want to go home with today, EVEN though it’s on my Ulta card?" And she sort of smugly smiled at me like I was asking something ridiculous and shook her head no without saying anything. I said again, to clarify, "it won’t be an issue to return and buy them today so I can go home with them?" And she said no, again. So, thinking the employee might know their job and the policies better than I do, I trusted her. And she was incorrect. I spent almost an hour at Ulta looking for what I needed and some more things I could use, and when I went to be rang up at the counter, my credit card- sure enough- didn’t go through, and the new girl ringing me up said it was most likely due to the return because it takes a few days for it to go back onto the credit card. I told her that Alley told me this wouldn’t be an issue and I’d be able to make my purchases today even after making the return from my credit card purchases. I was so disappointed, as I didn’t have the money to cover it now because of this which I knew would happen, and my boyfriend had to kindly offer to buy my items. I was absolutely disappointed, and it just goes to show that people don’t go the distance or go above and beyond for customers anymore to help them with their needs. Being that I’m a manager in customer service, beauty, and retail, there really was no excuse for this miscommunication, as I made myself very clear that I was worried about exactly this. Note to staff- easier FOR YOU, doesn’t mean EASIER, and you’re purposely not communicating policies to customers so that you don’t have to lift much of a finger. Extremely disappointing, and if I ever go back to Ulta, I will wait aside to have someone else other than Alley ring me up, and my advice is that you do too.

I had such a great experience with Jessica! She truly transformed my hair it looks and feels amazing. 💕 She took the time to listen to what I wanted, explained everything she was doing, and made sure I left feeling confident and refreshed. You can tell she really cares about her clients and loves what she does. I’m so happy I booked with her highly recommend Jessica if you’re looking for someone who genuinely makes a difference! 💇‍♀️✨

Ulta is always my Wonderland ❤️. Staff here could have been friendlier. Noone said Hi to me. The cashier was too young and not very friendly but not UN friendly either.

Don't get me wrong the sales rep are very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile, but today I went to a perfume for my wife and downloaded the app as suggested and found a coupon for 20% and since the item was a bit on the higher end I decided to use it , the person at the register was super nice but the coupon did not work, we check the dates and it was clear that was good from 12/10 - 12/14 so they called the manager to help and honor the coupon and she was quick to say, hoo that is an error the dates are wrong but if you want you can try to apply for a credit card and if aproved you can get 20% off, they did not honor the coupon and got my business under false promises, shame on them.

The store itself is great , employees are friendly the hair stylist Karla cut my hair and it looked nothing like the photo. I asked for a pixie cut and it looks butchered it didn’t come out how I wanted. I personally wouldn’t go again and I would not recommend going for a cut.
