⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ginger did my makeup for a special event and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I included before and after photos because the transformation truly speaks for itself. I have very watery eyes and my eyeliner had to be redone multiple times. Ginger was incredibly patient, calm, and detail-oriented the entire appointment. She never rushed and made sure everything was perfect before I left. Not only was she amazing with my makeup, she did my hair as well — and let me tell you, I was speechless. I have very thick hair — a LOT of it — and she handled it beautifully. The style held all night and looked polished and intentional. That alone impressed me. The glam lasted all night — even outdoors — and photographed beautifully in both daylight and nighttime lighting. The gold shimmer, liner precision, and deep red lip were exactly what I wanted. If you want someone talented, patient, and genuinely invested in making you feel confident, book with Ginger. She absolutely delivered.

I’m rating the store based on the hair stylist alone: Mercedes. I’m very pregnant and have thick, textured hair so I’m at a point where doing my hair would send me into labor. They really need to pay this woman more because she was multitasking up the wahzoo while helping her colleagues, scheduling other guests and doing my hair with professionalism, humility, patience and grace. My hair came out amazing and the playlist was great. I would definitely book with her again because she was reasonably priced and experienced.

THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I Came yesterday 8/23 looking for arctic fox hair dye but I saw hair dyes in the back and the black lady with curly hair, a little older comes "is there something you’re looking for" all sassy and I told her artic fox and she’s like "well you’re in the salon area you’re looking at the wrong spot" and she showed me where the brand would be at and then she leaves and she’s telling another employee "I gotta fix this door" and goes to the back and I’m looking for a certain hair color so I grab a bottle to check the shade and I see she comes back quick just following me and watching me like a hawk I felt it in the side of my eye and then I turned and she was just staring bad and she was like " oh not the color you were looking for?" And I said no and she just stayed quiet like girl ik you were following me trust me I’m not one to steal

My experience at this store was a great one! Janice, Tina, and Angelina were the best team members I could’ve hoped to find. They helped me extensively with my search for products, and answered every question about use and application; and to cap it off, Angelina was so pleasant and professional as she assisted me with my purchase at the front register.

If your black beware they racially profile. I had ordered some food at the local restaurant and came into the Ulta and shopped while I waited. The girl named Judy was very kind, but the other two Hispanic workers thought it was funny to talk about me and racially profile me on their mics. I had tried some make up on my cheek, and after I walked away to go pay at the counter, I forgot to throw it in the trash and put it in my pocket. After I was done paying at the front desk you can hear them laughing, and he says over the mic "no that’s just trash she has in her pocket"… Indicating that they thought I had stole something even after walking to the front table to pay. Why I was able to hear this is so disgusting and unprofessional that’s I should go back to the store return my stuff and embarrass them how they tried to embarrass me. They’re lucky I was on the phone and didn’t realize till after. I had basically left the store. Teach your staff that if they’re going to be racist to at least keep it professional. I will still be returning the make up even though I liked it simply because of my innate experience. I have an Ulta account and have been shopping there since college but now I’m definitely gonna think twice and will be calling corporate about the situation as well. This terrible experience was from two Hispanic workers one male one female the female worker was giving out bags to people probably the manager and upset I didn’t take it so she thought it was cute to racially profile me. To top it off the lack of diversity in the store, Is appalling. there’s no diversity to make people feel comfortable, and then the persons of color that you have hired are just as racist?… do better Ulta as somebody that’s been shopping with you for the last 10 years. I will also be leaving a review on the Better Business Bureau because this is not OK and I don’t want other black women to have similar experiences. There’s a difference between keeping aware of your inventory and just thinking it’s OK to treat people badly and poorly that come into your store. This is exactly why I have started to shop for products directly from the Stores that make them because who wants to come into a store like this? Your company will cease to exist if you don’t do better.

This location wasn’t helpful. I asked a an Associate who had short hair tattoos to call for a stock check at another location she denied to help. A second associate came up she had pink shirt on and she also denied help. Once we were leaving they both gathered and laughed about the situation. I would Love for their manager to improve their customer service skills.

I visited Ulta today and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. From the moment I walked in the customer service was horrible . The associate who helped me seemed more focused on watching my every move.Not to mention that I was looking for a face cream and asked for suggestions, expecting knowledgeable advice, especially since Ulta specializes in skincare and makeup the associate showed me a brand that I’m guessing had to be mention to clients and had to get some sells on it . When I mentioned that I have tried it and it didn’t work for my skin type, she got visibly upset and instead of offering alternative recommendations, she literally just looked at me upset and annoyed and stated " well then you can look in the back to find one that fits you " It’s disappointing to see companies hire staff who don’t seem properly trained in customer service or product knowledge. I hope Ulta takes this feedback seriously and works to improve their staff training and overall customer experience.
