Jan 4th, 2026 This place's name is now Planet K-Beauty and Jewelry. I think the owner changed. We had a good experience shopping here, they have cute stuff at a reasonable price.

Although this was about a year or two ago, reading these reviews have encouraged me to share my own AWFUL experience. Though the encounter was short-lasting, it was enough to match up with pretty much every 1 star review on this store. Me and my friend were walking around as my sister was in a different store (it was an 18+ store, and at the time me and my friend were still minors) me and my friend decided to enter this store as I saw a product I thought was cute from the window. As soon as we entered it was pretty much empty, the only one there was an older Asian lady. Me and my friend were looking around and the lady asked if we needed anything in an annoyed tone. My friend didn’t hear, and I have really bad anxiety so I didn’t have the courage to respond. She mumbled in another language and was definitely pissed at this point. My friend at one point picked up a product and immediately the lady left the register and stood in the middle of the store and just flat out started staring us down like a hawk. I was so uncomfortable and immediately left, me and my friend laughed about it but it’s still an unacceptable encounter to give to customers. We told my sister about the experience and she said she’s known for that and that’s why her store is always empty. Though I don’t know if it’s true she still works there or not, if she does do NOT waste your time going to this store there’s plenty others with way better customer service.

Stopped in today to look for a new skincare routine. The lady that was there was so kind and helpful! She recommended a couple products for me and let me sample them. I was nervous heading in based on the reviews, but had a very pleasant experience!

We visited this store every single day during our 4-day trip to Texas because Nicole, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The store was full of cute items, great prices, and such a wide variety of products—it honestly felt just like a Korean stationery/gift shop. I loved it!

My wife and I came in to look for a product and a second later the owner asked us if we needed anything, we politely said no thank you we are just looking. After a minute of looking around and talking among ourselves the owner asked again if we needed anything in a rude manner. We then reminded her again that no thank you and if we could just look. Then my wife tried to inspect one of the sample products and the owner said "DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!" we then told her that she has been really rude and we took our business some place else. Owner if you are reading this, relax. Stop being so bitter because you are destroying your own business. Maybe try to be more friendly unless you really do enjoy having an empty store.

I had the loveliest experience here. The lady at the shop was very knowledgable and friendly. She gave me some of the most helpful skincare advice that I've seriously ever gotten, like I even pulled my phone out and started writing notes. She even took the time to guide me through how to achieve and maintain my personal skincare goals, how to use different products (even from different shops), daily care routines, and more. She was so polite and sweet, I found it very touching. It's quite rare to see this level of passion and customer service anywhere, and I really appreciated it. She gave me a ton of free samples too. They have a wide variety of products for each step of your ideal skincare routine, targeting specific skin concerns, and sourced directly from Korea. It really made my day to visit, and I stg my face has never been so hydrated and clear.

This store sells makeup and skincare products. As a gay couple with a baby, we walked in to look at different skincare products, since this is our "Korea Town" and we love Korean, and Asian in general, skincare products. The moment we walked in on Saturday around 2 PM, the woman working got angry with us, saying it was a makeup store, despite the fact that we were looking at a sunscreen product. She told us there was nothing here for us, so we walked out and went to The Face Shop around the corner, instead. What a lovely homophobic experience for our Saturday. No wonder the review score is what it is.
