I came in on 1/3/26 looking to replace & try some new product. Valarie ( I believe was her name ) was extremely nice & helpful. Answered all the questions I had & made sure I had exact shades needed :).

Shantel the Asian lady seemed so annoyed I asked for help. And the rest of the staff were so useless and know nothing about makeup. Managers just talk to each other while workers slave away. Don’t go here!

Just got some prada candy travel size perfume and the new limited edition laneige x basking ribbons lip mask they are both amazing and great. great products would definitely recommend checking this place out at the boise mall and the staff that helped me was really nice!!

Usually I don’t have a good experience with the employees here but I came in today with a mission for a very specific lipstick shade. A girl named Somoa was right at the door and greeted me. Was very excited when I described what I needed and brought me at least 10 very similar options until we found the right one. I grabbed a couple other things I needed and at check out asked her a question about what product would be best for an acne issue I was having. She was very knowledgeable about what products would work well and also how it would react to other skin care products. She gave me a small sample and let me know how to use it. All in all was a very good experience. Customer service genuinely changed my perception of makeup shopping. 3/5 for the store itself. 5/5 for Somoa.

The customer service was exceptional! I was helped by Emily, who did not ask me to leave a review by the way, she really was just that great! She was so KIND and it felt like she genuinely cared and was excited to help me find what foundation fits my needs best. She was knowledgeable and patient, she was also so sweet about putting makeup on my cheek while I had my 12 month old son in hand not making it super easy. After she let me try the foundation I thought I would like but didn't, she had me try a foundation she thought would be best for me and she nailed it. I searched Sephora reviews, so I could leave one, and then I read through some of their previous ones. I found that MULTIPLE other people have mentioned Emily by name, and had the same wonderful experience as I did! I am not sure how their pay works, I believe they get some commission for sales on top of their pay...but that is simply not enough for the level of customer service she gave. I hope she has a performance review and gets a significant raise or bonus, because she was better than any other employee in the building and deserves it. I will be returning to Sephora, after years of not going because of bad experiences, and it is ONLY because of her help that I will be doing so.

I usually like coming here, and often. I have begun using more skin care products such as peels, serums, primers, etc. I'm still trying to perfect the products for my routine. I recently got Dr. Dennis Gross AlphaBeta Universal Daily peels ($88/box) they have samples that I tried and liked so I bought it. I noticed they also have more intense peels same package (red instead of orange), same price. I wanted to try this so I asked the girl in the skincare section and she lied and said they don't give samples which I know 100% they do because I saw them before when I got my current ones. Rude!!!

The lady is a serious jerk she was having a bad day seemed like she was over her day which is fine we all have bad days but my goodness just off putting and super short and we brought a foundation to return With receipt literally all said nope we will not take this back bye it’s over30 days!! By 1 day I shop here all the time but I won’t be back the last two times I had to grab two foundations ppl in and out and Employees they had standing chatting with each other just in fron of us so my fiancé just grabbed two foundations saying just get whichever two your closest shade and then we’ll come back and return it we had a family matter to attend to out of town came back today tried to return it and she just didn’t even give me any other options it sucks
