SEPHORA at Kohl's

My husband, our two kiddos, and i went in to sephora today searching for just a couple things as my son recently destroyed some of my makeup. I didn’t really know if i wanted to switch up brands so we were walking in circles a lot just looking at everything but within the first 10min i notice the workers are like ACTIVELY watching us initially i tried to shrug it off thinking im just overthinking it but no the workers start to literally follow us around we go down an isle here they come we move to the other side of sephora and surprise here they come again and everytime staring at us and looking at our hands. keep in mind i have a 4 carat diamond on my hand, im carrying a designer purse, my husband is in all name brand expensive clothes in no way did we fit a "shoplifters" image. Finally i decided to just grab the couple things i needed not even feeling comfortable enough to research the brands while im there and then my husband and i proceed to the cashier which i will say he was amazing and so sweet! Basically i just don’t understand why the two girl employees there practically acted like we were criminals when we are the very opposite image of being broke or being thieves. I’ll be sticking with ulta never returning to this insane environment. Hopefully these employees can do better or be replaced by people who will. This was around 1-1:30 today it was a tall skinny reddish brownish haired girl and a shorter husky brown haired girl that were the ones who continued to follow us around the store and stare like their lives depended on it also keep in mind never a smile even in the slightest just rbf faces the entire time. Honestly sephora do better it’s not okay for your customers to not even feel comfortable shopping in your store due to your employees.

I was helped by this very pretty girl, i think she said she was Crow. She had beaded hoops, and I believe her name was, Lorenzo, or Lorena. I wish I could remember. She was a delight, and was very knowledgeable about all the products I was looking for. I told her I really appreciated it, I wanted to say, good job! It has become one of my favorite stops.

I had to stop by here on the way home for my wife, just for some lipgloss, and this employee, named Cherine, said she could help me, I was in a hurry, but she insisted I sign up for email prizes, even though I told her I would not be returning, and promptly excused herself to the bathroom. I waited for awhile. Thankfully an employee named Lorene came up and got me what my wife asked for and got me checked out. my wife was happy about me getting the correct product. This was a bad experience at first but the last employee saved this places reputation.

The lady who helped me was very tall with sparkly winged eyeliner.. I should have grabbed her name. She was wonderful and definitely knew her stuff. I had to switch foundations and she did perfect shade match and made sure it would work with my primer. She needs a raise/promotion!!!

Cashier was super nice and accomodating. They have huda beauty, amazing products.

I absolutely do not recommend Sephora at Kohl’s. Go to Ulta. Their customer service is much better. My husband purchased some Lancome moisturizer for me at the Sephora in Kohl’s and grab the wrong one. I took the unopened product back to exchange it for the correct one and they would not exchange it without the receipt, absolutely ridiculous horrible customer service. I do not live in town so going to get the receipt was not a viable option. I have never had an issue exchanging something at Ulta and I highly recommend them over Sephora any day of the week.

Every time I go here I get followed around and not followed around and asking if I need help, they follow me around like im going to steal when im shopping. This happens every single time.
