Serenity + Scott the Home of Punk & Dandy

My husband and I were drawn into Punk & Dandy by the look of the storefront. The aesthetic definitely aligned with my personal style. I was initially interested in the cosmetics, but the perfumes were what ultimately swayed me to make a purchase. I love the idea of having a signature scent but have never been able to find one that I liked that didn’t wind up smelling like baby powder on me. Serenity, one of the owners, walked me through the scents and I found several that interested me. I picked Nicholas’s Day Off (cardamom, pine, vanilla) to wear out of the store and within a couple of hours, I was back to purchase a full bottle. But I couldn’t stop thinking about some of the other options that I really liked as well, so we went back the next day and my husband got me a 5-scent "choose your own adventure" collection. And because Serenity wasn’t in the shop that day, we came back one more time on our last day in Asheville to let her know how much I was enjoying what we’d purchased. If you’re looking for unique scents made with great care and intention (Serenity told us one scent took 6 years to perfect), Punk & Dandy is the brand you’ve been looking for. And as an added bonus, the packaging is gorgeous.

One of my top five FAVORITE places to shop in Asheville!!! Serenity is so completely amazing! She (very patiently) helped my bestie find the ✨️perfect✨️ red lipstick, as well as walk me through SSOOO many of the incredible Punk and Dandy fragrances! She is patient, so educated on their products, and wonderful to chat with. HIGHLY recommend!

The makeup and personal support were EXACTLY what I needed. THANK YOU! I rarely wear makeup, but my brother was getting married fancy-style in LA, I was in the wedding party, and we were supposed to do our own makeup. A friend suggested I try Serenity + Scott. It was too last minute to purchase an educational session. Zack was AMAZING at guiding me through what I needed to buy, helping me not buy things I would never use again, and showing me some basic tips for application. I felt great about my makeup and SO grateful for the support. Funny thing also, the professional photographers happened to (only) take pictures of me putting on makeup!

Serenity did my makeup for our June wedding. She was perfect! Incredibly professional and prepared. We had a group that wanted natural soft makeup and she made sure every person felt comfortable through every step. I also want to mention how kind she was when we needed to reschedule after postponing because of covid. Geniunely enjoyed her as a person too! Soothing and easy conversation while she was doing my trials and on the big day. I would highly recommend her.

On our recent trip to Asheville we stumbled into the Arcade to browse the shops. I noticed this shop that sold hand made fragrances/perfume. My husband and I ended up purchasing two fragrances each and we absolutely love them! They honestly last all day and are such unique fragrances that I have never smelled on anyone before. We loved hanging out in the shop and chatting with the staff that were so warm and friendly. We are customers for life now, and will purchase again! Bonus, they ship too!

I am new to the fragrance world and before we came to Asheville for a visit I decided to see if there were any local perfumers there. I found Serenity + Scott and decided to check them out. I am so glad that we did. While there we were able to meet and talk to Zack, he makes all their fragrances, and learn about all of the scents he has created. My wife and I both left with a couple different fragrances. We did both get the fragrance called Day. Day is a fragrance that everyone should have in their collection. I also picked up Bella Noir. Zack showed my wife how he liked to layer certain fragrances and she does that now. We also bought some lipstick for my wife. We will definitely be back to visit Serenity + Scott. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I can't express how much I love Serenity and Scott. It's a beautiful store in the Grove Arcade but the true beauty is within that focuses on their amazing staff and products. I've shopped here for a few years and Serenity has helped me many times. Her make-up tips are amazing, and I love how you can choose different eye shadows that work for you and aren't chosen for you from a specific pallett that's manufactured that way. Also, the products are wonderful and last a long time. I would highly recommend!
