Went to the AH Ulta and the nicest, most professional lady helped me with my makeup choices. She was kind, patient and such a joy to be around. I hope I don’t botch up her name - Chevron. Great person. I would definitely go back and work with her again. A real asset to Ulta. Linda Cooke

I am very appreciate of them updating the store whenever there is a new product launch. I’ve been to another Ulta where they only kept their new product in the back. But, at this Ulta, I was able to get my hands on the new stuff and I love my new products. Thank you so much

THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!!! I came in here randomly after picking up my Panera and idk why I picked up a random piece of paper that people spray tester perfumes on to try and this random unknown scent smelled so good and I asked her if she knew what it was and nobody could figure it out but she did some sleuthing spraying different perfumes and she was able to figure it out for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I wouldn’t have been able to sleep tonight without putting a name to that scent. You are a rockstar

Loved the Black Friday sales going on! Have been going to this spot specifically with friends since high school, a great place to just catch up and still look for things we didn’t know we wanted. The staff have the perfect balance of hospitality and leaving you alone to shop. They are well trained and really knowledgeable about the business!

Just by looking at the reviews there’s clearly a management problem. I had a HORRIBLE experience as well and of course management was involved. I went in to return a gift I had received and the cashier was so nice but she couldn’t figure out how to scan the gift receipt so she called over a manager/lead and already this girl had an attitude. She helped her scan my stuff and told me I would be getting back $10 which didn’t make sense because both items were worth way more. I asked why the amount was so low and the manager responded with attitude that it was due to it being purchased with points however, she never addressed me directly she only spoke to the cashier as if I wasn’t in front of her. Her attitude was disgusting so I just asked for my stuff back and left. I live in Wisconsin so I tried the pleasant prairie ulta and they were so confused on how I was only getting $10 back when the stuff was purchased at full price. They were super friendly and helpful, I will never go back to this location! And hopefully something is done about management here! I wish I would’ve gotten her name but she was Hispanic with mid size black hair.

A negative, awful and frustrating store experience. It was supposed to be a simple, easy, straightforward exchange — but with poorly trained staff and an equally unhelpful manager, it somehow turned into a failed, complex rocket-science experiment. I did my homework and checked the Ulta site/app first to confirm that item X was in stock at this location (screenshot attached). When the floor staff checked and said it was actually unavailable, they told me the store could ship it to me for free. Cool — no biggie. But when I got to the register and explained that I was exchanging item A for item X to be shipped, the refund was issued onto a merchandise card… which, surprise, can’t even be used for the free shipping service. The manager (I believe her name was Hale), who responded with the iconic unproductive line, "Sorry, what do you want me to do about it?", proceeded to contribute nothing to the situation except turning oxygen into carbon dioxide in front of me. No attempt to void the transaction. No alternate solution. No customer service. Nothing. I was livid. A complete waste of time, gas, and patience — on a snowy day, no less. To add insult to injury, the merchandise card can’t even be used online. Had anyone been competently trained, I would’ve just opted to return item A amount to my credit card right away and called it a day. This incident — which is very likely to repeat with another unlucky customer — could have been easily avoided if staff were properly trained on the basic "do’s and don’ts" of the services their store offers. Ulta is a large corporate retailer. This isn’t a ‘moving a mountain’ kind of task. Get it together. I had an awful experience with Manager Jackie. Just to alert all that if you have a bad experience Ulta Corporate has a store liaison team that is a level above customer service. I reported my experience in detail and they assure a response/resolve in 24 to 72 hours. The AH store is #1225 .. located upper left of receipt. Unlike Jackie the corporate team listened… of course there are always 2 sides but if you don’t report bad encounters others may have to experience the same!
