08/07/2025 I always pass by here on my way to work (when it's still closed) and when I get off work (when it's too hot to eat ramen) so I never been here and today is my first time to eat here. They have a deal for: 1 appetizer (pork bun), 1 main course (pork, egg, and ramen noodle soup in pork base) soup, and 1 drink ( Thai iced tea) for only $35! It was one of the best munchies I've ever had.
❤️❤️ this place. Spicy Rayu Ramen is hubby's favorite (he orders a side of White Rice to dip into the ramen). I tried the Yakisoba (no broth) and loved it. Very flavorful and the veggies had good crunch. Service is professional and courteous.
I had my first original Ramen of my life at this place. I tried vegitarian ramen bowl. I was impressed with taste of spices in soup, everything felt so fresh. Spinach Ramen was really good. Tofu was little bit oily & tasted different but overall good experience. Ambience is really good.
Food was not that good. The ramen was missing flavor, the noodles were too hard, and there was basically no meat. The tempora vegetables were too doughy. The chicken rayu was okay but the rice was too dry. Was going to leave a cash tip but then the waitress complained about not leaving a tip on the card because her "boss" noticed and asked her why. Excuse me for trying to make sure the waitress actually gets the tip instead of the business keeping it. Would not recommend.
This is my second time dinning here. I liked it, I invited my friends this time. Staffs are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and most of all, their ramen is tasty. Parking might be challenging around mealtime, but we're told there is additional parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. The steep price might limit the frequency of my visit, but I'll definitely come back again.
My ramen tour of the SFV continues, and this time I stopped by Rayu Ramen. It’s a cozy little spot with just a few tables inside, but it’s packed with delicious food options. They offer a wide variety of ramens, including vegan choices. I went with the miso ramen and was able to swap the pork for chicken. They even have beef ramen, which is a nice touch I don’t often see at other ramen places. The staff was incredibly attentive, and despite being busy with a lot of to-go orders and phone calls, they still made sure to provide great service. It’s clear this place is popular, and after my experience, I can see why. Definitely worth checking out—I’ll be back soon!
Today, we came for an early lunch two of my classmates. They were not from this area. My classmates ordered Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Shoyu Ramen. They both said the ramen and the broth were really good! I ordered Chicken Reka noodles. I enjoyed it a lot that I finished the entire dish leaving nothing but the plate, fork and knife! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This place is small but it's always busy! Recommended to others & ramen lovers. Sometimes it's a bit hard to find parking space since the lot is small and it's shared with other good restaurants and bakery next door. Service was good. Somewhat pricy but good taste with pretty good quality and decent portions. ------------------------------------- OLD REVIEW: Came for Takoyaki & Squid Kaarage. Asked for both to be well done. They came out very quickly. Takoyaki was great but my squid was not really like kaarage style. It was cold and very greasy. It was about 5 tables of people eating. Probably they were trying to rush. It won't stop me from going back though.
