Okay but this coffee shop, I found randomly online. I was in the area and wanted coffee but good coffee not starbucks sugar high. They greeted once I walked the door and then I was like I want the chocolate cake before anyone takes the last slice. - cake was pretty light and fluffy, loved the ganache it had on top, wasn't overly sweet. Perfectly balanced chocolate cake! - 8/10 Tiramisu was honestly really good, like it looked so appetizing at first glance. - the lady fingers were not overly drenched in coffee( coffee was light but strong) it was moist and still held it's shape -Mascarpone cheese filling was pleasant, no grittiness but a nice sweet tang. ( never really had mascarpone so im just going off what i tasted in my own experience) overall - 10/10 definitely recommend this!! Pesto pasta was enjoyable mixed feelings of confusion because I wasnt sure if it was supposed to be eaten hot or cold but I took it as a cold pasta salad. - very flavorful, fresh and the perfect pasta to sauce ratio! I enjoyed the crunch of the peppers that were added in and the mozzarella balls inside! Definitely was a surprise. ( i loved that there was like oil/ sauce in the bottom of the tray so I can just scoop some up with every bite!) - 9/10 Biscoff late was smooth, strong, sweet and its become a favorite of mines! I loved the crush cookies on top and the Biscoff spread on the cup at the bottom. Now here's the catch! If you order it hot , it'll be more creamer, light and aerated but if you order it iced itll taste more concentrated, but still smooth and a sweet bitterness that's quite honestly addicting. I finished mine in like 3 sips 😄 -10/10 definitely recommend both ways!
This was my first time at Stories Cafe, when I walked in I received a friendly greeting and she was extremely helpful in helping me decide what to order. The coconut matcha is soooo delicious and the pastries looked next level. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing family and friends.
Amazing coffee, pastries, and atmosphere ! As someone who loves supporting local coffee shops Stories Delivers! Reading the other review regarding the menu lacking is quite misleading. They do have a good size drink menu and I wish I couldve tooken pictures of the interior. Small shop so I can see it getting crowded during rush hour but the selection from the drinks to the pastries are worth it. I usually have a dumb convoluted order but the women at the counter who took my order was very kind and patient and communicated to her team about what I wanted and met my needs! The Dubai Croissant was delicious and well worth the price, if you go to any coffee shop you know prices range but it was delicious! I also got the Dubai Cookie which was also good but very indulgent and sweet! (Def recommend both) If youre in the area please support your local business, especially family owned! Will be coming here when im in the area again and again!
I’m not the type of person to write bad reviews but this place deserves it. Honestly bad customer service. I went in today with my sister and we wanted to try the mango matcha and we ended up not liking it. The mango syrup or whatever it is they use tastes very artificial/extremely sweet. We were asking if we could get another matcha, just a plain matcha latte but the girl at the register was being passive aggressive about it. I think her name is "Mouhame Awada" not sure. That was the name on my receipt. Anyways, she was essentially telling us that we couldn’t get another matcha, if we wanted another one we would have to buy it. Mind you we just paid $18 for two matchas, one that was disgusting. It was my first time and I was highly disappointed. Do not recommend if you like good matcha and do not recommend if you like great customer service. Especially for overly priced matcha.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved this spot! The iced matcha was refreshing and smooth, and the pastries were chef’s special, so fresh and delicious. Moh, the owner, was super friendly and took the time to explain how everything was homemade. You can really taste the love in every bite. Can’t wait to come back!
Supporting small businesses over Starbucks always feels better to me. Their coffee is good and strong and everyone here is so sweet.
got a matcha latte here with oat-milk and lavender syrup and it was amazing and the servers were very friendly. it’s so hard to find a place that makes good matcha
