Pink Sumo Sushi & Sake

Stopped here while passing through town. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. When we came in it was super busy and table reservations were full for the night. They still got us a seat at the bar and relatively short wait time. Everything were ordered was delicious. The staff was attentive, helpful, and very professional. We were blown away by the excellent prices and amazing food. This place is wonderful.

We had dinner last week here, the place is very cozy and intimate. I was really surprised about the quality of the food! We took some appetizers and few plates of sushi, and a bowl of ramen. The staff take care of us and our needs, they were very kind.

Great spot. The crispy rice with spicy tuna is excellent, crispy, balanced, and really well done. Sushi is fresh, atmosphere is lively but comfortable, and service has been consistently good. Always enjoy coming back.

Pink Sumo in Westport is outstanding. The food is fresh, creative, and beautifully presented, with bold flavors that really stand out. From the sushi to the hot dishes, everything feels thoughtfully done and high quality. It’s no surprise this place delivers so consistently — Pink Sumo is owned by the same team behind Sweet Basil in Fairfield and Cantina Latina, and you can absolutely feel that experience and attention to detail here. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is stylish but comfortable, and the overall vibe makes it perfect for both a night out or a relaxed dinner. Westport is lucky to have this spot. Pink Sumo is easily one of the best dining experiences in the area, and I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered delivery to my job while working an overtime shift and looking forward to trying out the restaurant. The sesame chicken tastes like artificial flavoring, premade sauce packs from the freezer aisle taste better. The brown rice was terribly bland and undercooked. The eel avocado roll tasted like it went bad, more like spoiled fish than cooked eel. The miso soup was sub par. I am not Japanese and I can make a better miso soup at home. In all, completely disappointed, will not order again or visit the location in person. Yes, the food was not exactly serving temperature for the time I received it, but that shouldn’t have that much an effect on flavor. I forced myself to eat it because that was the only meal I would have during my 16 hour shift and I had already spent $60 on the food, delivery and tip.

Fantastic Happy Hour at Pink Sumo & Sake from 3 to 6. Lots to choose from on the Happy Hour menu, appetizers, drinks and cocktail. Also order from the main menu, one of the best in Westport. Cheers.

Another amazing dinner tonight at Pink Sumo.We were greeted with a big smile from Ryan our server. He is truly amazing. With compliments, suggestions and great attention. We come here often and a review is way past due. If you want a great sushi experience we highly recommend Pink Sumo.
