Off Tha Bone BBQ

I wanted a southern breakfast so I stopped here. The breakfast, service, and price were excellent. I returned the same day for dinner and man I’m happy I did. The food was seasoned and plenty. The meat was tender and flavorful, my macaroni was the best I EVER had. When I’m in town again, I will definitely stop again. Thanks

For my first time I’d give 3 1/2 stars but I’d definitely go back on a day and time that’s busier. Today I went a hr before closing and only had rib tips or chicken. The tips were kinda tough on some and expected fall off bone but the sauce was great and so was the Mac and cheese but the pigeon peas was dry. They only had one dessert left the red velvet cake 😍 OMG it’s the best!!! very moist and nice size. Perhaps some items was off because of it being end of night. I’m thinking Sunday is the best day before 7pm can’t wait to try more items ****Update 3/18 I like to thank the owner because I did go back this time in the afternoon BUT I will come back on a Sunday! The staff/chef was very helpful answering all my questions and friendly too. I got the ribs as he suggested and Mac and cheese, potato salad. This time I got cornbread I didn’t get any last time and it is perfect. Ribs were good especially the BBQ sauce the mixed one. The potato salad wasn’t my favorite BUT every family has their own version! Had to get the Red Velvet again it’s addictive. Definitely coming back to try on a Sunday with a expanded menu availability 😋

Thank you Mr. Spann for turning our first experience into a great second experience! You replaced the family rib dinner and even threw in a large plate of chicken. The ribs and chicken were juicy and seasoned to perfection. The collard greens and mac & cheese were off the chain as well. We were even more impressed when we learned that you personally prepared the meal. The level of professionalism exhibited by you, your family and your staff was very refreshing. 5 out of 5!!!

I placed the orders online and made my way to the restaurant. We ordered the $5 Wednesday special (chicken, fries, and drink) and the rib dinner with macaroni and baked beans. Once I got to the restaurant, I unfortunately found out that someone else had mistakenly picked up my orders. ODB was extremely apologetic, made my orders fresh, and even offered a free dessert. Once I got the plates back to the hotel, let me tell you. They don't mess around with portion size. You will be full! The ribs literally fell off the bones. So tender and delicious. The sides were good. The fries weren't that great. Could be because it was a 20 minute drive back to the hotel. Chicken was dark meat but not as juicy as I would have expected. If I were in the area again, I'd 100% go back. Good food. Good prices. Great service.

2nd time visiting, 4/16/2024, the food was not as good but the service was excellent. I decided to get the chicken and ribs (19.99). You get 2 sides but if fries there is an extra charge. They put rib tips and ribs on plate but that’s not what menu states. The rib tips didn’t taste good, at all; too much fat on them. I really didn’t enjoy the food as much this time. The sauce on meat was very skimpy and I paid additional money for sauce on fries, a total of $23 for a a small to go plate. They didn’t have turkey this time either and had just opened. Soring 2023: This was THE BEST BBQ I have ever eaten! I ordered the chicken dinner ($13.99) and my friend ordered greens!! After she tasted my chicken she decided to call in an order for ribs. OMG, the band fits because the chicken and ribs fell OFF THE BONE! The sweet and tangy sauce has a name but I forgot. It’s the best seller and I see why because it’s perfect! The staff (Tiffany and cook) we’re very friendly and patient. This was our first time and it seems we took 5-10 minutes to order. We googled and it had 4 stars and but it should have 5 stars or more. As we waited for our order there were many coming to pick up orders and now I see why! They were out of cake but a gentleman told us they are delicious. The fries and macaroni and cheeses were very good! To be honest, everything was superb!!! I kept eating even after being full of that says anything! I just didn’t want to stop! No worries about safety as there were no issues. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have a taste for BBQ.

Pork Souse is amazing!!!!! Meat so tender and flavorful 💪🏽💯 To my main man Daniel you took my experience to another level without even trying. I guess that’s how it goes when you are a natural. From a true Georgia Boy y’all please keep this up WE the people are here for it!

The chicken sandwich was so good. It was tender and juicy definitely not dry. could tell it was cooked fresh. Definitely will be back next time in town. seriously a lot of meat for the price , wanted to fight my boyfriend for throwing away my leftovers
